Hah, appears I wasn't watching you either! Think I was just staying updated via FB. For shame, lol.

lol for shame! I hate relying on Facebook, it's really hit and miss as to when/what it shows me unless I specifically tell it to show me a persons posts first... but I can't do that with everyone (and sadly I want to see everyones posts lol!)

Wow! Squeesh. Nice WIP. What version of PS is that - that has a warm/cool palette - and one with swatches big enough to actually see well?!

Hey sorry for the slow response! I'm using photoshop CS6 but the cool/warm palette is an independent free addon that you can find here vk.com/wall-57578001_1174
The link is in Russian, but it doesn't matter - the links are at the bottom of the first post. Hope that helps!

actually, from what I can gather reading the notes by using the translator, I think this is for more modern versions of PS (i.e. CC, CS6). Unfortunately, I'm using CS2 Still, it is good to know this website exists. Will come in handy, someday, I'm sure.

haha! Indeed.
I had a CS5 crack, but lost it when the OS was replaced. As soon as I can grab another CS5 or CS6, I'll check back with this website for the plug-in.
I've tried open source programs, like the GIMP and Krita, and trial versions of Mischief, Artrage, Paint Tool SAI and others (I have Corel Painter, but it's only good for 30 days or 30 uses, so I haven't opened it yet, cause I don't want to waste it. XD LOL), but it seems that PS in any version, even CS2, is the way to go - industry standard, and all that jazz.

I have to admit, I'm stuck in my photoshop ways. I've only trialled a couple of other programs but I've never seen a huge advantage to them.... and photoshop I already know what it can do and where all the stuff is - I'm too lazy to learn new stuff
And yes! I have totally done that before with not wanting to waste the trial.. then when I did start it, life happened and I only got to use it once before it expired FFFFFFFFFF-! lol

No problem I like how ambitious your work is, you'll improve fast if you keep it up! Plus, any pace is progress :>
