As Dobson himself just proved, people on both sides simply need to understand and accept each other, rather than be an elitist about it and want to punish one group simply for getting more attention than the other

yeah, I simply pointed out to him why many of his claims he insists upon either aren't true, or are hurting people who don't deserve it
for example, he says it's OK to discriminate white people, because white people were never oppressed

he claims that by portraying women as conventionally attractive, we are discriminating against women with other body types, I replied that while more variety would be a good thing, going so strongly against the conventionally attractive look, he is feeding a sentiment against women who look that way naturally

to give some context
he said that it is OK to change the race of white characters to non-white, and that anyone who complains about it is racist (it was about the rumors that Human Torch may be black in the new Fantastic Four movie)
I told him that he would get angry if they changed the race of a non-white character to white, and that in essence this is the same thing.
I said that it would be much better if instead of changing the race of established characters to give minorities more media presence, they should use ACTUAL minority characters - especially seeing how quite many were introduced since the 70s, and they are in serious need of more exposure outside of comics.
he said that it does not matter if it happens to a white character, because white people weren't discriminated against

honestly....I don't care about race changes...as long as the story is good it doesn't matter what race played the character
yeah, they could give "minorities" a chance...BLADE was good...
I like that cartoon...although I'm confused...does that means that both races are equal, or that people from the north were as good as blacks from the south...seem from a Southern perspective...=S
