# About me
Hello! My name is Leilia(Lay-Lee-Uh)! I live in Central Florida, and work as a veterinary technician. The rest of my time is spent as a sculptor. I love spaniels, video games, sci fi tv shows and other generally nerdy things.I have always had a passion for art, but in November of 2010 I discovered my love for working with polymer clay. I first began experimenting with creating simple charms and figurine, but since then I have pushed myself to try many new and more intricate sculptures. I am constantly learning new techniques and trying to improve my work.

Hi there! Love your clay work!! Do you have an FAQ by any chance? I can't figure out what finishing coat to use for my sculpture work. I've heard to stay away from Krylon matte finish for being sticky, but I used it today on a test piece and nothing seems wrong, even on a very humid day. Any advice to a novice? Thank you!!

Hello! Thanks so much for the kind words! As for spray finishes, I have not had any issues using krylon matte finish. I use it for a lot of my work and have not seen any stickiness. I also sometimes use Testor's Dullcote if I want a completely matte finish, as the krylon still leaves a little bit of a shine. Hope that helps!

It really does, thank you!! May I bother you quickly again and ask if you use the krylon white primer before adding acrylic paint? Sorry for so many questions That should be the last question
(Ok also random but btw I adore your fursuit sorry I just had to say that X3)

I do like to use Krylon primer. I typically use the gray primer because it is more neutral, but that is just a personal preference. The primer you do have to be careful using on more humid days, I have had that become a bit sticky on occasion.
And thank you so much for the kind words on my suit, I really appreciate it!

Oh ok, thank you!! (Yeah, I've been so paranoid with sticky primers and sealants possibly ruining anything! I just really needed to hear from a professional that it went ok! ;0; Hopefully it's ok if I live in a colder climate of Boston )
And you're so welcome! It's not often that I see a Spaniel suit! The character is adorable in itself anyways!

I just thought I could rejoin DeviantArt after seeing so many inspiring works by amazing artists here!
Oh, okay! I do admit that publication on Instagram is much easier than on DeviantArt, haha..
