Maybe you should dual-boot Windows Vista and Windows 7. Partition your hard drive into 2 partitions, one for Vista, one for 7, download Windows 7, and install it on the second partition.

Now using Windows 7 as my main OS. Its very fast! I recommend everyone to use Vista SP1 or 7.
