I see you enjoy Clive Barker's illustrations. He rules. Have you read 'Abarat', by him?
If you want some good reading though, check out his: "Books Of Blood" volumes 1-3. They are in my opinion, a few of THE best short horror stories you will ever read!! Let me know if you have a chance to read them, I'm a huge Barker fan and love talking to others who enjoy his work.

Oh yeah, I've read all of those and I own Abarat books I and II. I read Books of Blood a couple of years ago and I really liked them, as well as the Thief of Always. Honestly I'm more of an admirer of his art than of his writing but nonetheless I think he's very talented at both

When I first read the 'Books 1-3' I was astounded, literally knocked out of my socks. But then, I also read a few other great ones, like 'The Thief of Always', 'Coldheart Canyon', and the absolute best of his written work: 'Imajica'. It's about 1000 pgs long, but the storyline is filled with wonderful imagery and characters that immediately capture one's attention. Check it out when you get the chance!
Did you like Abarat II? The pictures are just mindblowing in that first Abarat!
