As for suggestions... Hmmm, the problem is that aside from the obvious choices, there really isn't any anime that can be grounded in reality AND have kickass action girls.

Haven't thought you would use that to write a story.Funny you mention Koko Hekmatyar,coz I was imagining them try to walk her out of a gunfight in a hotel or some sort(a drawing concept) before I read your journal....might be drawing that out,who know?Gimme a few days t sort everything out first,then I might make it(assignments and homework are killing me D: )

Just started out the rough sketch,but the progress will be slow....TvT

Awww man, I'm kinda honored that I've gotten you back into drawing!

By the way, I don't know why, but I was thinking Ravager (aka Rose Wilson) would be on either the Operator's or Peacebreaker's team. And her story could involve a Teen Titans mission going horribly wrong. Enough so in fact, that she ends up guilt tripping and quits the team...

Um....haven't giving too much thought on the villains,but Alphard and Liang Qi(maybe) from Canaan are on the list,Chinatsu and Hex(maybe) from Jormungand....well I haven't watch too much anime recently... X(
