I suppose for me, RP and writing are a lot more to me than taking a character someone else made and trying to work with it, if that makes sense. I was more so willing to try with the first one because I had already started drawing and working on it. (Thought my tablet crapped out on me and I'm having to buy a new one.)
But like, it just seems less like I'm wanted because I'm wanted for an RP and more so to fill someone elses shoes and characters and its something in my gut telling me I should pass. I'd rather be a part of the creating than just borrow what someone else made, so to speak.

I understand. Though I would have given you creative control of his past and his time while in combat, if you feel like you need to pass then I won't hound you or contact you again since it will only just be more temptation for me to try to convince you.
I did think that this character was more your speed though because he is a massive goofball and wisecracker and can brush off anything life throws at him.

My problem isn't at all with the character that you are wanting me to play. Both of the characters are relatively interesting. My problem just lies with that they are not mine. They are yours in all terms as far as I know. It's different playing a character from a show or from TV, because neither of us would own them. It's a lot stranger just RPing as a character that you own, have developed, and likely have expectations for that I may or may not be able to fill. It's way I offered to make the first character a redesign. So I would be able to produce something that was more related to my half of the RP and would fit how I would normally go about building a character.
It seems less like you are okay with that, and more like you want someone to fill the shoes of a character you can't write yourself. And thats all cool by me! But I don't think thats a job I'm down for. I'm not trying to get you to not contact me either. You seem like a really cool person and your character ideas are really interesting! Like, I'm not an ass my dude. If I didn't like you, I'm pretty sure I would just tell you forthright. Why waste my time, know what I mean? UvU
