god, all my watchers are just incredibly nice to me, it's ridiculous.
well, I'm that kind of person who has a favourite word and is totally serious when they say that (currently it's obstreperous)
I also have a weird little thing that unless there's good reason too, I won't use the same adjective twice for describing a feeling in the same paragraph. So I look up words on thesaurus.com when I need a little inspiration.
As for sentence fluency, I think it helps to picture yourself reading the words out loud. Just makes it feel more natural.

I do the same with the whole adjective thing, and I always try to use a word besides "said" twice in a row just because I think it's as bit bland when I'm reading a fic and whenever someone talks it's ended with "he said" or "she said" or "they said" ect.
