# About me
Hello Everyone! This is King Edmarka, but you can call me Tom if you like (or Ed I guess, as reference to my DA name).My artwork and interests fall into several categories, as shown by my galleries:
1. Paleoart: This is my main interest and art subject. Depictions of Prehistoric life of all kinds, from the Pre-Cambrian to the Pleistocene.
2. Exobiology and other Speculative Evolution: The depiction of fictional lifeforms of alternate timelines and/or other planets.
3. Modern Wildlife: The depiction of various animals from the modern day, but also includes recently extinct animals from the Holocene too (such as the Thylacine and Bluebuck).
4. Kaiju: E.G. Giant Monsters. This includes monsters from the Godzilla, Gamera, Pacific Rim, and other universes. Also includes original kaiju created by me, for my series "Chronicles of Cryothys"!
5. Video Games: Depictions of various video game creatures and/or characters. Primarily Monster Hunter artwork.

Well, I don't wanna flood your comment section so more or less gonna try to be short and sweet
The Story of Primal begins when two 18yr olds on a Trip discover the remnants of a prehistoric underground city created by a now extinct race of aliens that immigrated to Earth during the Mesozoic
Within the ruins they discover a gigantic device that was created by the aliens that has the power to transmutate, the device was actually like an energy source to the alien race that lived underground but due to a war they had with another race they converted it into a Weapon
The two teenagers manage to activate it by accident but due to millions of years of dormancy, the device doesn't go off with all its potential and only goes off with like a fraction of its power, mutating them and several other people into dinosaur human hybrids or in some cases, a genetic Chimera of prehistoric animals
(The device actually converted dinosaur DNA into a transmutagen that allowed the alien race that made it to turn into dinosaurs, they could shapeshift without it but lost that power for unknown reasons)
What happened afterwards is that the device going off caused an ecological disturbance and Prehistoric animals that were living in underground networks for millions of years come to the surface and wreck havoc and a group of teens come together to fend them off, along with having to avoid a government agency that wants to capture the creatures and them to as well as their main enemy, essentially a surviving Reptillian of a Hostile species that wants to gather the pieces of the device to recreate something stronger and turn the whole planet into Reptillians to revive his species, wiped out by the KT Cataclysm

It sounds like a great premise so far! Now, these mutations; does it turn humans into outright prehistoric species, or do they stay humanoid with, like, dinosaurian features? Are the main characters permanently changed, or do they have the ability to shapeshift?

For most of the characters, their mutation makes into into a hybrid between human and whatever random DNA they've been infected with
Essentially a Were-Dinosaur...or Pterosaur or Reptile
Tho there are some characters who have the DNA of multiple animals and the end result is a more unstable chimeric form
Yeah, they can revert to and from Human to dinosaur with practice, it's like a Hulk Type of thing, maybe a better comparison would be Animorphs if you remember that book
it's possible to get stuck in the alternate form, in some cases it can be relatively short, while other cases, you could get stuck in a form for years
With the main character, he got stuck in the form of a WereRex for 3 days before being able to revert back to Human

Yes and with the nargacuga skeleton coming that mean we could get tigrex and barioth or a new monster all together. It's all so exciting does suck that it won't be until next fall but I can wait.

It's a safe bet where getting zamtrios and possibly gammoth hoping we get a new elder dragon, and please add sub species and deviants to some of the new monsters that would make my day.

Looking at the trailer again, I noticed an armor set at the end with palmate horns on the helmet, and shaggy fur on the shoulder pads; similar to how the Kulve Taroth armor looks, but definitely different. Might belong to a new monster!
I would love for Gammoth to come back, but I don't think they will without the other fated four, and considering they were introduced in the last game, they might skip them for now. But hey, I didn't even think the announcement would be THIS big, so hopefully they prove me wrong! Zamtrios would be a treat. They'll probably have Jade Barroth back, maybe Barioth......and definitely some new monsters. Though, I also still wonder if they plan to add Oroshi Kirin and Alatreon....

Oroshi Kirin will most likely be add and as far as Alatreon it's hard to say I feel an ice map wouldn't really work for him he belongs more in a volcanic region. But the real question is did they fix the Leviathan skeleton.

Well they used the word "Locales" so it must imply that there might be more than one new area....and since Alatreon has always been fought in an arena like area, I'm sure it wouldn't take much for them to make a new one (though fighting him in an icy area would be in interesting thought too).
Oh hopefully....I'm sure they'll be able to perfect it somehow. If not now than later......they GOTTA bring Leviathans back at some point.

Yeah, I would mainly the mouth at most. Zubat has that very distinct gaping mouth.
Also, just as a personal idea, I would add one or two more, asymmetrical ore bits on it’s face; to make the ones currently there seem slightly more obvious that they’re not eyes
