Nice pencil work...although it would be nice to see more color like you had with your Fire Wolf. You can apply your tonal knowledge to coloring to enhance the value scale...then all you need is to choose the right colors. Or you can try messing around with light saturated colors over your tonal work.

Fuck I gotta start drawing more. I've decided to try to discipline myself to draw at least 6 hours a day. No excuses. I HAVE to start improving my skills if only for the sake of actually liking my own work.
But on that note, things are looking up for me a bit. In my local area I have been commissioned to do a number of tattoo flash for several clients. My Fallen Angel piece is actually one of a two piece set for a client's shoulders.
Can't complain too much. Still not at the level I want to be, though.

I think in general I'm going to stick away from the japanese/american style...It doesn't work for me. It's a shame, too, 'cause I love doing it so much. But I also like the way my more realistic style of pencilling is going...
I find it a lot more fun trying to figure out complicated light sourcing and tonal values and how to properly make objects look 3D with something besides line width, etc.
Anybody have anything they want to say? Feel free to post here, I'd love to hear whatever
