# About me

I am 28 years old and live in New Zealand. I've always created art, and was very active on deviantART in my teenage years but then art fell by the wayside once I discovered the joys of fulltime work and adult stress. In the last two years I have finally been in the position to get myself some quality art supplies and have really started focusing on developing my skills and style, and I am finally becoming confident in my abilities.

Aside from art, I am also an aerialist, avid Pokemon Go player, powerlifter and dog-lover. A lot of my art features saturated vivid colours. I dabble in all media but currently am particularly in love with colour pencil, Copic markers and watercolour - though I am trying to teach myself some pastel and oil pastel techniques. Acrylic painting is something I would love to get back into again but I currently live in a situation not at all suited to drying paintings!
