Just thought of this au and honestly who better to do it than my favorite checkmate shipper! (ya dont have to obviously haha just thought you might find it interesting)
Basically Blake, instead of growing up in the white fang, grows up in a small village in the country-side and she left to be a huntress in order to do something with her life because honestly who wants to be cramped in a tiny boring village their whole lives? (she still love it though) She comes to Beacon and everything is basically the same as in the actual show, but one day spring break / summer break/ whatever break ya want starts, and everyones confused as to where blake will go during this time, and she feels a bit hesitant, but asks if ruby,yang, and weiss want to come along. They all greedily accept and they set off to blakes village. The village is one of those classic, run down kind of places, LEAGUES behind modern society. Possibly similar to the style of the anime spice and wolf with straw roofs and dirt roads, as well as old customs and stuff.
When they arrive, many of the townsfolk recognize blake and welcome her with big warm hugs and question who her friends are. Her teammates are surprised how blakes personality shifts a bit as they settle in to that town. I have no idea where the monochrome comes in but i kinda like the start of that plot. Itll be cute seeing weiss have trouble adjusting to the lower class houses and such, as well as ruby and yang probably making trouble and even possibly setting buildings on fire by accident. I have a feeling it could turn into a bit of medieval au as well, with mages, and cloaked travelers and large grassy fields occupying the spacious area around the small town.

Au départ, je pensais faire une partie de carte entre les persos, mais si vous avez d'autres idées, elles sont les bienvenues !
(rp une partie de carte n'est pas fort important et ne nécessite pas de connaitre les règles, on se concentre plus sur la discussion et s'ils perdent ou non, surtout ça. Et bien sûr, Chester n'aurait pas prévenu vos persos de son intention de tourner le jeu en strip poker, uhuh...)
