Hey Kaytee. It only took me 6 months to reply, but that's a damned good comparison, lol. Berserk is one of my all-time favorite manga, and the creature designs were quite the influence on my work.

I've actually got a huge backlog of drawings to submit here, alongside another whole comic to that "FaustFall" series I originally posted here. Sadly, I tend to get rather complacent with my RL affairs I forget about my DA account. Shameful in hindsight, since I have a sweet spot for the place.

No harm done, Kaytee. As a fellow who can be up to 6 am inking a scribbly comic, I feel ya, lol.

My Christmas was pretty good, even not overtly festive. The commercialism outweighed the Christendom this year, but I enjoyed having a ham dinner with my folks, and got some nifty gifts in the end.

Yeah, I'm sorry for not being as active as I used to be. I get nostalgic sometimes and look over the past gang's accounts to see how everyone's doing - active or not. I make it a habit to log in though, so never feel nervous to PM or comment me. The attention from a good friend is always worth receiving.

Y'know, I should at least draw and post something so this account doesn't end up in the crapper. Perhaps I should draw some Beast the Dream Keeper. He's the latest in OCs I've drawn, and a simpler one to start up again. It's just feels like a chore whenever I start up drawing, thinking this drawing has to be the next impressive one. Haha. Perhaps that is what has been holding me back for so long - expectations I put upon myself. (After all, I'm pretty lackluster in realism where cartoons seem better. But that's the case for anyone whose drawn style before realism. I... I guess. )

Life's been good, really don't have many complaints. I've succumbed to the inevitable act of sitting around and doing nothing at home, lol. Though, I have gone to a wedding, visited my older brother and sister-in-law numerous times upstate, and went through the stress of my father receiving cancer treatment and my mother receiving eye surgery, since we last exchanged words.

It's been a subtle but life-changing roller coaster ride thus far, but I'm trying to scrambling my pieces together so I don't end up being lackluster piece of humanity before my late twenties.

Art-wise, just been brewing ideas and polishing up some age-old concepts while not exactly drawing. Hmm... kinda become dull as far as my 'fire' goes. D:

Things on my end have improved vastly. I received therapy which helped my mental conditions thankfully All is well with my family. Got a boyfriend that lives in belfast like me *at fucking last*
Been to america and back, Done some college work and now I'm out and about in the world. Looking for a decent paying job so that I can move out~ So all good here. Kinda trying to practice my art, Kinda hard but I'll get there.

Heh. Well, they're not exactly in their healthiest youths, so it's understandable from their perspective. I try not to worry them silly with my personal fears, instead I try to help out the best I can. And with the newest addition to our family, that being my older brother's first born son, I think there'll be a splendid amount of happiness to come.

Ah, I'm very glad you've overcome your mental conditions and have garnered such a lovely life for yourself. It's definitely a vast improvement from last we spoke, and it brightens me to hear one of my friends is doing so well after so long. (Congrats on the boyfriend as well~. ;D) I'm pretty lacking in the job and college department, though I wouldn't say the aspiration isn't there. It's just a very... procrastinating aspiration. Traveling the world, is that what I'm hearing? Well now, that's quite a feat I haven't even thought of doing as of recency. What countries have you visited outside your home country and the Americas?

Haha. Art's pretty stagnant for the both of us it seems. Still I wish you the best of improvement and really hope you go somewhere with your practice, unlike my standstill. :6

That's probably going to be the majority of new jobs for the end of the year. Quick and accurate means of receiving some quick payment and the best part is you can drop them as soon as the shopping season dies off, HAH! :V I share your fears. Never had a real job myself outside of lending some helping hands here and there, and that was mostly with family business, lol. I'm sure you're a competent enough young lady to make it through it though.

Haha. I'll try my best at keeping my artsy ways alive. It's just a matter of cornering myself so I have no excuses to elude doing something I used to enjoy so much. Hoping our trip upstate for Thanksgiving this year will aid in sucha task. >.>

Well, we all have had our good and bad moments, Dream. I know some old friends may remember more bad memories than good ones, but that's all in the past. You have a newer lifestyle now and a bright ambitious future if you so seek it. There really isn't a need to dig up what's best left buried away. <:3

Oh, but on a brighter note, I had my 23rd birthday yesterday! Got a new pair of sneakers, new keyboard & mouse, and Pokemon Black Version 2. I'm a happy li'l shut-in! 8D

Lol, well, I've been re-visiting old characters alongside some newer ones. Kind've put Lucifer and my other ghastly characters on the side for now, in hopes to expand on my subject matter. 'Course, I tend to slip and end up making my villains creepy-looking as my devil characters. Also, I have thought of tying in their worlds, or at least what's all in my head and isn't typed or drawn, lol.

I've been well, if not unproductive with both reality and art. Eh... I can only blame myself though.

My family life is pretty well, though, both my parents are dealing with particular health conditions. My father has pancreatic cancer (we don't think it's malignant) and my mother may have the early stages of diabetic glaucoma. He's on chemo pills and my mom took some prescription eye drops to help with her eyes. My younger sister's pretty bratty, but she's getting into those nasty moods puberty had us all experience.

It's not the greatest, but compared to so many other people's situations in the world, I'm very satisfied to be where I'm at now.
