Hi Karl, i just wanted to say some last words about this whole Photoshop-thing: check out Lightroom 2! Much cheaper, much easier to learn and all you need.

Hi Karl! I don't know how i get here, but i'm glad i did. First, thanks for the links in your journal. I just checked them out and was totally blown away by the quality of the pictures. Still a long way to get there (for me). 
Then i read that you are thinking about the D90. I bought mine a few weeks ago (my first SLR) and i absolutely love it! Perhaps you will have a look at some of the pics i made with it. But if you do you should know, that nearly all of my pics are reworked in Photoshop - whith a few clicks. I don't spend more than 5-10 minutes in postprocessing for each pic. I'm saying this, because there are some great pics in your gallery which could be absolutely stunnig with some little PS-adjustments .

Hi, Thank you so much for your comment and spending some time looking around my gallery. Im glad you liked those galleries in my Journal.
I'm so jealous that you have the D90, its a great camera and i cant wait to own one for myself (just need to save a little more).
I really do want to learn to use photoshop, i have a copy somewhere but havent got around to loading it cos then i know ill get consumed in learning it and i dont have that much time at the moment. But im keen to learn about exposure blending. People like andy mumford [link] use it to great success.
