A teacher once told me, if you share your truth, you can write. Another teacher told me, the more your share about yourself, the more others will see themselves.
I still just try to tell a story with many interpretations. The sick things I've seen and heard...
Another teacher told me, you'll write when a story challenges your mental stability if you don't get it out.

Each of your teachers were right. I write to ease my mind. To write down my dreams, my worries,... Since I joined dA, I've learnt so much about myself. Especially that I'm not alone.

I always hope people feel something, anything, when they read a story or poem I write. Happy or sad.
I did want people to see it in many ways, but I knew people would mainly see it with different levels of disagreement; whether it be interpreted as a mean father (your locked room idea) or an evil father (...).

Of course, the idea of the evil father is horrible, but if we weren't allowed to write about it...That idea is even more horrible.
