It's Symphonia, a character art book featuring 30 moe anthromorphisms of famous classical composers such as Mozart, Beethoven, Wagner and Shostakovich. I'm hoping to assemble a team to help bring it to completion, as well as make it as good as possible for the readers.

By the way, I just finished listening to Mahler's 2nd. It's also the first symphony I listened from start to finish, without stopping except for short toilet breaks (it's like one hour and a half long XD).

Perhaps I could update you a bit on things? :'P

Let's begin by looking back a little.

Old era (2011-2012)
This is where I first began, and frankly, it's a very embarassing beginning. XD Yamiko can testify. Everything from here is basically retconned. If I have to put it this way, it's my equivalent of the PC-98, except that we don't have any returnees that show up in the next era which is frankly a huge step up from this one -

Lincoln era (2013-2014)
Now this is more like it. My original Touhou canon officially begins here. This period gets its name from being roughly around the time I picked up an Abraham Lincoln obsession and subsequently, my nickname. However, this period is much less serious than 2015 and has the characteristic Nansei-ness of the first era - most stuff winds up not so memorable and highly incomplete. It's a little derpy and experimental, to be honest, but its's also where I found my voice. The later games have a slight Kancolle influence to them before my interest in Touhou sizzled out and I went to design shipgirls. I failed miserably at designing shipgirls, but that's another story.

Pacific era (2015-present)
And this is where we are today. Hanging around on World of Warships NA forums taught me the importance of research and fine tuning, so this period is way much more clearly defined and polished than the previous two. It's also distinguishable by a general unoriginality - the plots are often based off some other copyright and the dialogue and designs are often full of shout-outs. I like it, actually. It gives me a bit of a launching pad to toss my ideas on and also gives me an excuse to do tons of research. Like its name states, the major influence of this period is the -Pacific- USN Fleet Girls Collection doujin series. This period also has a certain thing that I call the Pacific Influence characters, which are basically characters designed to look similar to the Pacific cast as a sort of thank you to the amazing creators of Pacific.

And here we have the members of the Pacific Influence club:

-Satome Inbou (based off Enterprise)
-Beethoven (honorary member, the way she holds her keyboard in the extra stage of AA is highly reminiscent of Enterprise)
-Kano (loosely based off Phoenix)
-Toko Nikabane (somewhat based on old Yorktown)
-Ludovica Swan (Arizona)
-Yamato Manyou, stage 6 boss of FFE (her battleship rigging and cape makes her look like Nevada and Oklahoma)
-Frida von Hohenzollern, basically 2hu!Frederick the Great and FFE's Phantasm boss (Northampton-class heavy cruisers)

Strangely, they're almost all Germanic. Deutschland forever???

Also, the three final bosses so far have names that are two sets of two kanji (陰謀 悟目、似屍 都子、卍鹰 大和), wear hats, and are Pacific Influence characters. I see a pattern here! However, I guarantee you that the next final boss will break all these conventions...

I think your eras have evolved a lot, lel. My old era was basically really bad art, & nearly every character was Mary Sue incarnate (literally like, Misaki & Genmenyu were the only nonsues).

I really can't believe I was serious about that once.

Well, everybody has to have a starting point, hmm?

The new character designs are awesome.~ I probably need to get more into Pacific, because I don't really have anything for generally getting inspired from, besides other Touhou fangames.

Also, what is Nansei? I don't really explore too much into the title to legitimately know what it is... All I really know is that I'M following someone called TFPAndNansei,& that I've heard about it...

Well, so let me begin: 

Meet Beethoven, um, I mean, Anastasia Steele, a university student who is deaf, has a record-breaking bedhead, loves classical music, and wants to be a professional musician. Don't worry, she can hear just fine, she has hearing aids which she successfully hides underneath her terrifying and intimidating hair. Female Skrillex is her mother. Ana/Beethoven and Skrillette are not on friendly terms with each other. Ana/Beethoven also thinks that her mom always cares more about the fans than her daughter. Ana/Beethoven hates dubstep with a passion and people speculate that she lost her hearing because of overexposure to dubstep at a young age. Ana/Beethoven is also extremely grouchy and hot-tempered. She has more than just the hearing loss and the bedhead, you know.

Kate Kavanagh, a chubby emo/punk dubstep fangirl, is Ana/Beethoven's roommate. One day, Kate falls sick with the flu and sends Ana/Beethoven in place of her to attend an interview with a rich young businessman for the school paper. Ana/Beethoven obviously gets very angry at Kate for falling sick on this day. During the actual interview, things get a little...personal. Ana/Beethoven and Mr. Grey (the said rich young businessman) realize that they have more in common than just being fans of classical music - matching family issues, same personal problems, yet still a world apart. Lots of intense, passionate musical instrument playing ensue. Then, mayhem (and Lincoln) ensues. It's a unique and heartwarming journey that will take you on a bizarre auditory and emotional ride. And it's completely clean and smut-free, so you can bring kids to watch! ;3 AND IT HAS A MORAL OF STORY! WOOO!!
