I've been doing alright, just working a lot, starting a company teaching kids

I've just been catching up on old memories, been too busy to do much online recently so I just thought I'd check in everywhere

I've been pretty well myself, or at least I'm fine now. But less than three weeks ago my cat of 15 years, Glitter, died while I was sleeping. Yesterday I was in my first car wreck, I wasn't the one driving, my mother was driving, the brake randomly failed for no reason when my mother tried to stop, we slammed into another guy's car....I do know my mother wasn't speeding, and that I saw her try to get the brake to stop. The brake hadn't failed before, and hadn't failed since. In a nutshell, no one was hurt, bumper damage only, my mother didn't get a citation from the police since her driving record had no wrecks for 70+ years, not since she was a teen. No one could explain the brake failure, not even the police; my dad, who is an engineer that works on ships and has experience working on cars, tested the car and the brake seemed to work fine, the only reason people believed my Mom because I was a witness and had seen the whole thing. I will always remember screaming along with my mother as we both probably thought we were going to die, before we slammed into the rear end of the other guy's car....

If the brake had failed on Interstate or the highway, my mother and I would be dead and I would not be typing to you right now. Scary thought. The car's getting checked on by a mechanic because we don't want a repeat of this.

I honestly don't need more misfortune right now.

I hope you'll excuse me for asking you this after it's been so long since we last spoke, but does the idea of working on a comic appeal to you? I've been searching for skilled artists willing to work with me on a comic, and judging by your gallery, you're certainly skilled enough.

My own drawing skills aren't entirely up to par, so you'd probably be doing most, if not all, of the drawing. If that's okay with you, I'll go ahead and send you a note detailing the plot I have in mind. There are still some things I'm deciding on, but I've got a good sense of where exactly I want the story to go.
