I'm doing, not done yet Nothing dramatic has happened to me, I've stopped posting as a personal decision I'd been procrastinating on. Wasn't feeling very proud or gratified by this gallery anymore, hadn't really for a long time. While I do sincerely appreciate any and all love folks have shown towards my work (that's why I decided to leave it and not archive the whole thing or delete them as I've seen others do), I felt I was spending time I didn't have to make stuff for an audience that pretty much wasn't there anymore. Even despite that fact, I spent way too much time browsing on the app, looking at stuff I otherwise wouldn't of chosen to. Basically decided it was healthier to walk away as that was what my gut had been telling me for a long time.
But, if I ever do make anything artsy in the future, I likely will share because I've liked dA for over a decade now and still appreciate the idea of it.

Yeah, I find it nonsensical that it's missing any features of the website, I have to check on a browser for any requests for group features (if they haven't expired from being unseen) or lamas received, but geez it's handy to just swipe and browse undiscovered artists or explore the galleries of old inspirations.

I've put some thought into that... decided it's pretty grizzly in actuality. I'll have to illustrate some Robians along with revised Badniks. But the way I figure roboticization would work is a computer scans the subject thoroughly, analyzing their body's structure and uses sophisticated AI to plot out what's functionally necessary (bones, tendons, muscles) and designs mechanical equivalents for it. In turn, anything deemed unnecessary to replicate (including fatty tissues, skin, and fur layers) is burned away in the actual process of breaking down their biological components, and then re-using elements of their body supplemented with on-hand raw material supplies to build the mechanized unit. How in this process that the Mobian's consciousness is preserved and left to helplessly observe, I haven't come up with an exact explanation of beyond their neutral tissue being replicated on a digital format (Charles's original design would have used this to retain their individual likeliness, but Robotnik merely put some programming in place to suppress it and rely on a connection to a simple AI to operate their body obedient to him).
In the end, they'd resemble a metallic interpretation of their skeleton with tensing cables in place of their musculature. Charles basically never finished this technology and likewise never intended to perform a full conversion on anybody, only on specific portions of the body too damaged to heal or as an instant medical solution to create advanced prosthetics in the field of combat. But when the first live trial failed to be contained to only the wounded portions of its subject, converting his brother into what appeared to be an abomination, he abandoned further development.

Ironically. I've imagined robians are ultimately becoming their own species. Since if internal organs are replicated, that would be the womb and other reproductive organs would as well, resulting in a miniature factory, the result being robians who would upgrade themselves steady into an adult form.

I like the point of organs being directly replicated, the body although mechanized would have to continue to maintain itself and function as it did biologically as that's the only blueprint involved with the unit's redesign. Thought about Robians having to eat and their stomaches being designed to extract the necessary nutrients to fuel their body.
Neat idea of them becoming their own species though Especially after given back their own free will, it'd make sense they'd have to figure a way to persist as is in absence of a way to de-robotocize.
In my fiction here, I didn't think it made sense for flexible skin and fur to be reproduced as solid steel plates conveniently arranged to be fully mobile (let alone Jule's hair or Charles moustache be given protrusive metal recreations). Decided the process would disregard cosmetics in this sense and focus on faithfully recreating the functionality of biological limbs and organs mechanically. However, as with Rotor helping Bunnie out with modifications, Robians with restored control would opt to modify themselves to be more like their true selves and less visually jarring to their friends and family.

As amazed as I am to say it, yeah, super busy at life finally. Sorry for being no help, I genuinely appreciate being asked at least.
Seriously though, good luck on the project, looks like you've put forth a considerable amount of effort to coordinate it and have some concrete ideas. I sincerely hope you get a reliable team to help make it happen, which is why I have to honestly say I'd fail to be one with my presence circumstances and past track record with projects.

At this time, I'm in the process of completing the ones I have and then I'm deleting my journal for requests/commissions until further notice. I'm very sorry, but that's a no for now =/ Keep an eye out in the future, I frankly love to do requests and draw art directly for people, but I just was proving waaay too unreliable in terms of time-frame for completion and I have personal projects I will literally not do as long as I have those unfinished requests making me feel guilty
