Thanks for the follow back! I had an account back in high school but it’s been too long to remember username or password >< I live in Stirling area :) (Smile) how do you find deviantart? I don’t remember much about it or how to really get interactive with other artists!

Yes, I personally like DeviantArt. I don't have facebook or twitter or instagram or whatever, so this is (besides another german art website) my main site where I present my art. I like how much inspiration you can get and how many amazing artists here are.
Getting in touch with people is not that hard on DeviantArt, but you have to invest some time. When I was still studying, I was a lot more active, commented a lot, faved and just started talking to people who seemed interesting. Some very nice contacts started there. I also love to do art trades. But yeah, it needs time to write thoughtful comments and replys, so now that I'm working fulltime, I have a lot less time and write a lot less comments...that's why I don't get much feedback anymore. Oh, and put your artworks into groups, that good for reaching more people :) (Smile)

If you click on "more" (on top of the DA page, next to the submit-button), you'll find "groups" there.

There you can search for groups you can submit your art to (if you do much traditional artwork of animals for example, I'd recommend animal-groups and traditional art groups). You can become a member and then submit your artwork into them. That way, every member of the group sees your art in their art notifications. Works pretty well! :) (Smile)
