Thanks for being such an awesome cosplayer. It's rather motivating to me when I see amazing work done by others, makes me want to make my costumes as good as I can make them, aside from other art endeavors.

No problem. I'm just glad when I meet people who are not assholes. Sure, trolling is fun, but she someone's just genuinely trying to be nice, being a troll to them is like setting a newborn and their mother on fire with napalm. Trolls like that...they ought to be shot in the crotch with buck-shot...

Yes. I was born in NC, lived there for six years. Moved to cincinnati, OH to be closer to family, lived there for 3 years. Then moved to Louisville, KY for jobs, also lived there for three years. Then moved to vegas for jobs. We also might move back th NC or Europe to some bases.

Ah, well europe's pretty cool. If you can avoid Jacksonville, I'd recommend doing so... I dunno what it is, but I seriously want to slap most of the marines here in town. They're...just not the marines I grew up around knowing. And I don't think it's all of them, just enough to make living here moderately annoying.
I grew up in a navy family, so I'm just used to how bases are and such, but this place just feels a lot different compared to others... Outside of some people with empty heads, I've made some AWESOME friends here.
Also, in Raleigh, there's an anime convention held every year at the end of May, called Animazement. I usually do panels there about web manga/comics and digital publishing. It's a pretty cool little convention, a bit like a micro-version of Otakon because it's not to the same huge scale. Its also cheaper to get in to lol. Usually about 40 for Animazement, about 70 for Otakon, minus hotel, food, and transport costs. Though sharing a place with friends is totally the way to go... at otakon I was rooming with my bro and some other friends, and I 'made' them watch friendship is magic, which everyone but my bro enjoyed.

Well, if I can get together a portfolio, I'd like to work either in design or animation, but I love making comics so as long as I can keep doing that, I'll probably be happy with what ever job I have in life.

Yeah, I had no idea after I left. I just went to the panel and tried to not fall asleep. I really wasn't as prepared for the drawing panel as I wanted to be, so it was all brutally live. Which I think was interesting, but from where I was sitting, I was just hoping I didn't bore people to death. I think it went well enough tho.
I'm thinking that all the awkwardness of this year is mostly due to the change of venue, and everything just being thrown off by the funk-o-matic schedule that no body but new staples could decipher. I'm sure next year will be pretty fun. :3

Well, I'm sure nobody was bored to death in your panel. At least, not to death. And, you didn't miss much selling time after 3:00. So many artists were gone already, and the crowds were really small. Not that I'm complaining, I definitely appreciated the extra time open.

I definitely think this will all move more smoothly next year. It's challenging being in a new location, on all of us. It was still one of the more enjoyable years for me, so next year has a good chance of being awesome.

Ah, yeah, I think I just miss wandering around aimlessly. That's really the best part of the convention atmosphere, is just taking everything in.
