I really appreciate your photographs and how you capture the ultimate beauty and power of nature. I'm still young, though I am considering photography of nature to be a hobby when I'm older. Keep up the good work!

photography is something i've done in some form since I was a little kid, certainly before I was 10 years old.  I'm now a Grandpa and still find great joy in going out and capturing the world.  It is one of those special things that you can take with you for your entire life.  If you enjoy it, you can photograph until your last days and leave behind some small beauty for those that come next to enjoy.

have you been up highland dr for photos? It's near eagle river loop road. There is another entrance into Chugach state park near the end of the road.

I wish I had a few more shots of worth from Denali, there are probably a couple more bear photos to post... Didn't find moose but I hope in the next couple weeks to get some great shots here close to home of them so that was not a big deal.
