I'm going to miss Kojima working on Konami properties.Β Silent Hills could have been epic.Β I think it's too soon to say that we're going to miss Kojima himself, as after his non-compete is up in December, I'm sure he'll start something new.Β He has too much talent (and arguably ego) to just fade away.

I hope Konami doesn't rehash old stuff and give us dumbed down games where we have to pay to enjoy.

It's my understanding that they're getting out of making console games entirely to focus on Pachinko machines and mobile casino-type games, since they're "more profitable" to them.
