# About me
This is me.Not too long ago I used to be a terribly awkward high-school student with low self-esteem, a dim view of human nature, and a lack of interest in anything conventional or mainstream; I used to be quite full of myself, as though I was smarter than my peers and anyone else I associated with; and I used to have such a dim view of human nature that I though I so much more unique than the rest of the world. I was an angry young person who pushed a lot of people away from me for no reason at all. But, you know what? I'm tired of being like that.
I think it took me a while too long to figure out that such a way of life was so negative and unusual for me that I was growing weary of myself. Looking back, I realize I was just going through that same premature discomfort with myself that we are all familiar with as adolescents; such discomfort made me cantankerous. I wish it hadn't, but I am not unique or exemplary like that; I am only human, and that is the best I can do.
Now, I am gradually becoming more and more adult. I am getting older and wiser- approaching my summer, as my Dad would put it- and my discomfort is melting away. The world is looking less and less threatening; the days have grown so much brighter; my mind is clearer, and my thoughts are fuller. I laugh and cheer and share that exuberant joy with others, changing my reputation from introverted and bizarrely off-putting to likeable, kind, and sociable. I love being around my fellowmen and peers, hearing what they have to say, and smiling with them. I am developing a gentle love for humanity and am proud to be a part of it. Indeed, I still cry and feel sadness and anger; but those phases come so much less often and do not last as long. So much has changed.
Nowadays, my interests have fallen into scouring scientific articles about intriguing odds and ends in psychology, biology, and trivia. My imagination has grown so active that it has extended into the building of worlds and paracosms, stories and lore for those worlds, and beings to inhabit them. I enjoy listening to music, watching science fiction shows and movies, and spending happy days with the people closest to me, even in their passing- never shall I forget them. I look to days to come and my future as it unfolds before me with more of a smile.

I believe I've become somewhat good at identifying what artists want to hear about their pieces, and I delight in pouring out every analysis I can find. Their reactions make it all worth it- it gives me
a warm feeling inside.
Always a pleasure, Jo^^

I'm glad Artists like you know how to compliment and make yourself feel great about it instead of feeling a sense of complimenting yet feeling envious inside. That warm feeling you get after such comments definitely eliminates the feeling of feeling jealous, that's for sure!
Plus, why should we be? It should be embraced! And you're doing just that.
You're doing an awesome job. Keep those comments comin'!

Hey Aria! I've been wondering... You work at the library, right? If so, do you know if they're hiring there? I'd hate to be lazy all Summer long, even though I just recently wrote a song on DA about Summer and procrastination. haha

I'm not so sure, actually. I can ask my superiors about it today, though. I'll get back
to you when I do!
Hahaha! Summer is for procrastination! I've been working on my art and other stuff,
but I have plenty of procrastinating time in between!

Alright. I'm just looking for jobs because there's this S-trip that I'd really LOVE to go on but it costs sooo much money. I've been thinking of working at either the library or Savios for starters to help make up for the trip in the future.
But thanks for your help. Much appreciated!
Yeah, summer is for procrastination you're right!
Can't wait to see more of your new art work, by the way.
Also, I've noticed that I've been starting off with "Hey Aria!" for the past couple of comments I have posted on your DA... I believe it's time for a new greeting.

I asked on Saturday during my break: unfortunately, the library's slots for applicants in my position
as a page are currently full, but the other page is has graduated and will give up his position when
the next school year starts. They'll have ads for the job in the newspaper; perhaps you can apply when
the opportunity arrives! Always a pleasure.
Aww man, that trip sounds like a ton of fun! I really hope you can gather the funds for it; I'd hate to
see you miss out, man!
Hahaha! I didn't really notice that- but that's hilarious! Ye'll have to change your style somehow; I
can't imagine, though. "Hey, Aria!" just seems to work.

Ah, thats fine! Ive had Savios in my mind, while typing up my new resume so maybe I will check that place out.
But I will most definitely go for the opportunity to work at the library, when all is clear in the next school year.
It does sound like a lot of fun, but it costs a LOT of money and to go back home. Id hate to miss out on it, myself. But if I dont make the trip, its not the end of the world!
Haha, I use that greeting for almost every comment I have posted on your Deviant Art and somehow I feel the need to change it up a bit.

Heyy, you've got your resume up? Good for you, I had a bit of a tough time with mine. I didn't really know
how it should have looked, so I had lots of help from Mum^^ You'd like the library's page position. It's
very peaceful and pays very well.
Ahh, gracious- isn't that the way it always goes? There's always another day
Surprise me!

It's almost done! I saved my resume on the laptop because I didn't know what else to put on it...
Maybe if you stop by my house, you can help me out? I just feel like I'm missing something in there.
What days are you free? because I'd love to hang out with you on the days that you're not busy.
Besides, I do need a break from family from time to time.
But the library does sound like a great job and seems less stressful on the nerves.
I hope to achieve on getting that job, even though it's not a tough task... Who knows, maybe it will be.
That's what surprises are for right?

If nothing is planned, I am free any day outside of Tuesday and Saturday, which are when I work. If you would like to arrange time, you can
ask whenever, and I can adjust my plans accordingly^^ I haven't really felt a social need, but am always there if you like!
It really is! The faculty is very nice, very polite, and indeed, it's not hard at all. It could be that the work is not for some people; it relates to
that difference in skill set and personality. Surprises are very fun!^^

Sounds great to me. I'm actually not doing anything on Wednesday, but if no plans come up, then maybe I'll message you if it's alright to come for a visit. Also, do you think you can note me your phone number, just in case? It would be really helpful.
I've heard it was! I'd like to have a job like that. Very simple, not too hard. I agree. Not every job is suited for some people. That's why you should choose your job carefully and ask how workers are being treated, as well as the work, before applying.
Surprises can be fun, but some cannot. I guess that's just how surprises are, these days.

This Wednesday? All right then, we can do that then. I'm usually quite free Wednesdays. And sure, I can do that.
I very much enjoy my job here. I hope the jobs I acquire in the future can have similar workplace conditions, but I
do not want to be a librarian all my life!

Actually, I just remembered that I MIGHT be going to Vancouver for a back check up this week around Wednesday or so. I'm not sure, but if I'm free Wednesday, I'll be sure to message you back when possible!
I'm glad you enjoy your job. Not many people who work enjoy theirs. I wouldn't want to be a librarian all my life either, but it gives you great work experience and I hope to get that job in September.

too! Perhaps, perhaps...

Thank you. I still don't know about that appointment, though. I don't think I'm going tomorrow because I heard it got canceled, so who knows. But if I'm free, I'll definitely message you again and ask to hang... Cause you know, Summer can get pretty boring when you're almost ALWAYS at your own house.
That's good to hear. For me, I've been delivering newspapers ever since and I STILL hate it. It's seriously the most lamest and worst job you could ever imagine... I just can't wait till school is over, so I can actually find a better job and move on from that one.

What say we move that date to Friday? Wednesday has kinda slipped by to today, if you catch my drift; I'm always free Friday.
I've never found that, to be honest I think it's because I'm so introverted that I am happiest in my own house. But hey, I
do enjoy hanging out!
Bleagh... does it pay well, at least? I'm really sorry to hear that... a job you do not enjoy rubs against you and tires you of it.
I do hope you find a good job soon! You'll love the years after high school- I can promise you that

I was just thinking about Friday! haha, what a coincidence. Today has slipped by quite fast, I've noticed that too. Yes, I catch your drift. Friday sounds like a good plan. What time sounds good to you for arrival?
I hear ya. It's just so hot in my house, sometimes I feel like I need an escape, you know? Hanging out is something to always be enjoyed!
Well, we don't get enough pay, but my Mom says it's great exercise and it keeps me occupied to do something productive, and I agree with her, it's just that delivering newspapers really isn't my kind of dream job.
I know it's not gonna be forever that I'll continue the job, but that money does help pay off bills, I guess you could say. Plus, you get to meet some people you've never met before and it's great if you want to be familiar with the neighborhoods and all, so I'd assume that's an upside to this work.
It's nothing to be sorry about, to say the least. It's definitely not one of my favorite jobs in the entire world. But yeah, jobs like that does rub you out and tires you out of it. Quite tedious, to be honest.
Thanks, though. I hope to find a better job soon, also!
I'm sure that I will enjoy the years after high school. I'm just ITCHING to get out of it. Same words go right back to you! I know you'll enjoy them, as well.

How about 12:00? can that be good? I'll meet you here.
I know what you mean. And I do enjoy it, I promise you that! I have too much fun.
Yeh... I wouldn't imagine it'd be the best thing for you in the long run. Forget it as a dream job, hehe.
Oh, sure, it has it's perks, like the familiarity you mentioned, and that it does bring in income. But if you really aren't happy with it at
all, then I'd say it isn't worth it in the long run. Heck, you've got another 70 whole years ahead of you!
Exactly- it just tends to drag and grind that way. Your optimism is superior^^
Hey, thank you! I still don't know how to feel.

Ahhh, eheh, I just woke up! I hope it's not too late, is it? (Hoping you're online to read this now)
I know you do, and I'm glad you have too much fun doing it!
My points exactly... I just gotta keep going for it, until I finally have a new job at least.
Thank you. It's not always that I have a lot of optimism inside of me. But it's enough to keep me positive on rough days ahead.
You're welcome. Soon, you will know how! But I'm sure of it that you already CAN feel.
