LOL i find actually that most anime I've watched recently suck in some regard. Even YGO sucks in some regard. Everything sucks in some regard, BUT I AM SO GLAD THAT YOU STILL WATCHED IT <3. Makes me feel all bubbly and happy. I love Code Geass mostly for just....well, that it's CLAMP, and some really awesome moments when Lelouch wins, but for the most part, not much beyond that. Even though at times it is infinitely awesome. <3

Yeah, I know it seems like Death Note, but I think it's like a shoujo-version of Death Note. Lelouch can give both L and Light a run for their money though, but too bad it simply doesn't hae the darkness that is attributed with Death Note, which makes Death Note so awesome. Cornelia could whip Mello's ass though. <333333

SUZAKU X LELOUCH!

---> I actually hated suzaku for a good portionof the series, but it wasn't until the end that I really liked him. I actually prefer Lelouch x Rolo, or even Schneizel x Lelouch. BUT YES, THAT IS WHY MOST PEOPLE WATCH IT.

I LOVED THAT PART. SAD AS IT WAS.

AND I DESPISE that girl too. Eventually I cast her off as unimportant for me to rage towards the end of the second season, but OMG I despised her because of her inability to see beyond her little angstfest - ...which you will see sometime in second season where she totally SNAPS at Milly for not being nice to her like "Euphemia-sama" was. -TWITCHES-.

I DON'T KNOW WHEN SUZAKU WILL SCREW LELOUCH SENSELESS! Although Rolo should totally get screwed first.

W/ YGo, though, it's more the fandom that's awesome. The characters are fun to mess up wtih and screw according to your liking, which is what I found in YGO was a great appeal.

OMG NO. It had been on my list for a long time, actually.

I do go on MSN. It's just that by the time you finally get your fucking ass online, I'm already off frolicking through a field of flowers, smiling brightly at the wonderful sun and the beautiful rainbow that magically appeared without a drop of rain. This is what my worst nightmares look like.

YES, me too. But that's because I've become very critical of anime. Death Note definitely changed my standard OR HOW SHOULD I SAY THAT and now I only want to watch actually good series. But yeah, it really feels like they're trying to make a second series like Death Note, but it fails in so many aspects. There are too many holes in the story that make it seem so fucking unrealistic, and even though a lot of shit in Death Note could obviously not happen IRL either, they make it all seem so believable and realistic. The stupid robots despite being a major Transformers fan I hate these kind of robots just like in Full Metal Panic are so unrealistic, like how they blow up over 9000 enemies with just three people WUTTT, and a lot of characters are SO over the top dramatic, including that bitch of a Zero. Seriously. He doesn't even come near Light in terms of awesomeness. And I don't think they go into detail enough on a lot of subjects, for example the bond between Lelouch and Suzaku. They're supposed to have this whole best friends/worst enemies thing going on, right? Yet you barely ever saw them together, and when they were they acted very distant to each other. BUT ANYWAYYYYY I'm probably overthinking this too much and you don't even care.

Suzaku is actually the type of person I would usually hate too. He's too kind for no apparent reason and all OMG I GOTTA SAVE ALL THE INNOCENT PEOPLE OMG I GOTTA FOLLOW THE RULES LIKE A GOOD BOY and yet I STILL DON'T HATE HIM. Maybe it's because he can be kinda kick-ass sometimes and the kindness isn't completely genuine either. Also, did I mention I just want him to fuck Lelouch's overrated brains out?

I love it when characters have this extreme loyalty towards another, especially if it's for love - like Misa and Kisara. BUT SOMETIMES IT JUST DOESN'T WORK AND IS SO EXAGGERATED. She doesn't have any fucking reason to get all lesbo over pinkhair, what she did could hardly be called saving her or whatever. Fuck, she doesn't even know her at all and it came way too out of the blue. But then again, she already was a complete retard from the beginning and I've hated her ever since she stuttered her name. AND THAT STUPID "OMG I HAET ELEVENS THEY SCARY" SHIT ANNOYS ME SO BADLY TOOOO.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. But at least my SuzakuLulu porn kinda makes up for it, even if I don't have much yet. I used this smiley way too damn much. This is so relevant to your Rolo remark.

That is so very very very true.

I liked Death Note but as an anime I believed it was farrr too slow. I liked the manga much better but I dont' really like the spin off novel they've made of it AND to put it over the top, I don't like it when people of that fandom claim that L, Near, and Mello were champions of justice, because, to be quite honest, all three of them were equal major douchebags, protagonstist as they were, which is why I loved them. They weren't ideal heros: in fact, it was hard to root for them sometimes because deep down you knew they weren't really fightign for juctice. L was fighting for pure interest, Mello was fighting to beat Near, and Near was fighting because he felt it was his job as the new L, not as a nice good citizen. I also enjoyed Death Note for its gothicyness.

I think the reason I like Code Geass despite it being a death Note wannabe is mostly because it is definitely an anime that you can take kind of...at face-value. With Death Note, it was intense, and I loved t, but with Code Geass, you knew right from the bat that this was going to be a very shoujo-esque version of Death Note, so it was easier to accept it when it wasn't as awesome. I felt there were too many characters in it, and I was also disappointed that they didin't show much of Lelouch and Suzaku's character development as they did L and Light, but then that would've meant that the series woudl've been even more so like Death Note. This anime was I think sticking with the mainstream Gundam theme but with a Death Note touch, so thinking of it just as an anime made for commercial value (rather than manga which usually has more artistic and deliberate liscence than anime) - it was pretty decent on that level.

Like most of CLAMP's problems though, there were way too many characters in too little short of time. Your villain wash't even that much of a concerning douchebag: doesn't matter if you ahte or love the chaaracter, a character is a bad character if you just dont' care about him. and i seriously didn't care for charles. at all. all of the characters i did like there wasn't much to really further their personalities on, which made me very sad. In a way it was all one big lelouchfest.

GAH NINA. >_<; The biggest thing I couldn't tolerate about her was the whole "i like ms.president" to "only euphemia-sama, screw you ms.president!" >----<

I think it's harder to think of Code Geass INR beecause well, to be quite honest, death not revolved aroudn the most mundane looking book with the extraordinary ability to kill people - it was revolving around tryin gto make things look real and subtle. It's kidn of hard to be stuble when you've got huge Gundams fighting each other. It's really hard to make anyeone really believe that a geass could work like that, or that anyoen can finght like that, or that anything can happen wehn you've already got Gundams everywhere blasting the heck out of each other. T-T

I just finished watching Code Geass. So if you hadn't finished it yet (cause I actually have no idea) skip this shit because I want to rant about it. Zomg, the ending was kinda cool. The last couple of episodes really rocked. Obviously, this had nothing to do with Suzaku and Lelouch joining forces despite me fangirling over this.
And Rolo turned out to be awesome too when he got all loyal and shit.
Too bad I didn't get to see Nina die though.

Woah I didn't think Death Note was slow at all, actually, I thought it was fucking awesome from the very first second xD
And yes that's what I like about L, Mello and Near (well not Near really because I hated him, lulz), it's because they're not 100% "good" and Light wasn't completely "evil", they both had good sides and flaws too and stuff. I like how they showed they were just humans too in the end. Unlike Lelouch's father, who was a fucking weirdo that made no fucking sense. WHAT IN THE NAME OF GOD WAS HE TRYING TO ACCOMPLISH.

But yes. In the end the entire series revolved about Lelouch's prettiness.

NOOOOO, DON'T GIVE IN TO A SERIES ABOUT DUELLING WHILE RIDING MOTORCYCLES, THERE ARE PLENTY OF GOOD SERIESSSS.
I've seen quite a lot now I think -depending on what you think is "a lot", lolz- SO MAYBE I CAN NAME YOU A GOOD SERIES. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU'VE SEEN SO FAR. NOR WHAT SERIES I SHOULD RECOMMEND.
