Most of the models I find online (as you can see in the diagram links), although occasionally I purchase a book from some Japanese oriental store here or there.
As for the paper...I just use anything I can find. XDDDD;

NP. i have some books. but i can't seem to make the dcorative origami as well as anything else i can make. do you have any tips?
i have made up three things of my own. one's a flat person. another is a star although it's notreally origami as i have cheated, i used some tap. i have made it with out tap to hold all 5 peices of paper together but it's a bit fragile. i have also made up my own type of an envelop. it works quite well.

In the past, I was always vaguely miffed whenever there was a deviation for some GOREGOUS origami modular, and I wanted to make it so badly... but, alas! The person never had a link for it! So that's why I always put links to the modulars in all my deviations - so that other people can enjoy making them too. ^^

Yeah I hate when they don't link to the tutorials! That's how I first got into making them, because a boy I know made a PERFECT 1 foot tall five intersecting tetrahedra and I wanted to make one sooo badly.
