So, are you prevented from posting any more pony on Shapeways now that SFA is done? I recently finished a model myself, but no where to make it now!

I did not join the SFA program back when they were looking for artists and I haven't sold any 3d prints since before SFA so I wasn't really affected.
From what I've heard the artists felt screwed over because Shapeways encouraged them in private emails to keep making designs for a SFA 2.0 that never happened...If I had to guess, Hasbro probably ended the deal from their side because it just wasn't profitable enough them.

If you only want a print for yourself I think Shapeways will print your model even if it's copyrighted material as long as you don't intend to sell it publically over their website.

To everyone asking if he's in on the new Hasbro/Shapeways deal - The superfanart site lists five artists from the U.S., Canada, and France. Since hashbro's profile here says he's from Germany, I'm guessing he's not in the initial offering. But the NYT article indicates the site will be open to other artists. Their works simply have to not be "obscene, violent or hateful". So hopefully hashbro and others will soon have their work up for sale on superfanart. Because the current offerings are a little bland, to be honest.

hey I have a really quick question I just got a 3d printer and I tried to print above ground and it didn't work how do you print above ground like lets say the head or the tail of the pony pleas help I really want to print a football helmet for my grandma and don't know how to print it

I can rightly say these are some of the best 3d of MLP, I've ever seen.Β One problem has always been, although they look great from one side, they don't so much from a different side. Even looking awkward.
