Indeed, or to a top-tier ranking, or to the highest points of writing and story-craft, or up into the air on big black wings (although the use of the last in outer-space may be somewhat confounded). It was a versatile little bit of phrasing. What can I say, I have a penchant for poly-pertinence. It's just so much more efficient, like playing a musical chord. Why pluck all of the notes individually when you can just play them all at once.

Well, goodness, now I'm feeling all fluffed and flattered. Those are some very kind compliments that you're throwing at me. I'm not quite sure if I should receive them or dodge aside. It's like being fanned with gusts.

I'm glad that what I'm able to offer has struck with positive effect. That is the high, low and central core of what I strive and aim for. Indeed, that I might achieve and share it is my deepest struggle and delight.

I appreciate your encouragement as well. I admit that a person doesn't mind being buoyed a bit every now and then (even if that lift comes as a bit of a lofting squall). I tend to keep to myself more than not, and coming here has been something of an experiment; an experiment that, if I am being honest, hasn't always felt like a success. Putting up a poem, only to watch it get zero views for its month, let alone anything else, can get a person contemplating matters of purpose and point. I try not to be vain, but I am still human. That said, there have been many bright points too (including several poems that likely never would have been otherwise), and they are quite certainly dear.

So, though the inspiring muse remains ever her own creature, I will endeavour not to disappoint, and can only say thanks.

You have certainly earned it. I'd like to think that people appreciate art outside their own little windows and aside from their fandoms and interests and gadgets, but sometimes they're just as shallow and ignorant of the rest of the world as they appear. It's truly a shame that such great talent goes unnoticed and truly creative ideas are lost amongst an audience that could care less unless a specific big name network or company is the creator. The world is largely afraid of what is new and what is different so they stay with what they know and don't give new ideas a chance. I have seen it time and again. I just hope that my work will be noticed in the storm of media, that it reaches out and grips an audience. I hope the same for you and Know that I will appreciate your work if nothing else.
