This was the only thought that ran through Batter's head as he walked along, looking around for specters and... Well... Anyone. And then he saw (Y/M). Were they pure? It was hard to tell. The man's grip on his baseball bat tightened, and he started walking towards (Y/M).
"... You there. Come here."
This was more of a demand than an offer. He was going to get what he wanted, whether it took intimidation or not. When (Y/M) didn't walk towards him, he narrowed his eyes and let out a soft growl.
"Come. Here. N O W."

Zacharie turns around, still with his usual bounce. His ginormous bag of goods were lugged over his frame, and he bore the mask of the Judge. He had been expecting his prized customer for a while now, and was not afraid of his threats.
" Hello there, " he speaks calmly, keeping his ground. He looks behind him, to the sight of a rippling sky, before setting his focus on the Batter. Yes, he seemed to be becoming more agitated than their first meeting. In any case, the merchant sets down his bag and shuffles around.
" Do you want anything? I'm afraid I do not have many new items, as many of my main traders seem to have disappeared, but I was able to pick up a new bat of sorts, " Looking up to the figure, he thinks for a moment, " Or do you want something other than my goods? Something that I cannot sell you? Something... ' purified ', perhaps? "

The little girl looked up at him and made a blank expression "Pure..? There is no such thing as pure.." She said with a straight face she just stood there looking at him "The only thing that exist is despair.. lot's and lot's of despair.." She then started to grin "Besides..What is pure to you? is it innocence? or is it something else.." her grin became more scarier "Or maybe your finding an excuse..an excuse to kill someone.."

Batter narrowed his eyes as he stared at the other male. The man was wondering who they were and why there were here, but... Above all else, he wanted to know if they were pure or not.

The monotone baseball player tilted his head slightly as he spoke.

Asmodai had never seen such a realm as dull in color as this. However at hearing a hostile voice he turned his head to face the other, narrowing his eyes. " now, now, no need to be aggressive " now giggling softly, his tail flicked. The demon was very aware of what was going on in sense of hostility, but he knew how to defend himself quite well

The man pushed his hat up to look at the other being, revealing two of his bright red eyes. Batter blinked a few times, examining the other male. They were too bright for his liking. Too colourful.
".... You must be purified, yes? You are obviously not pure. Your existence must be rather painful, knowing that you make the world worse by simply existing."

Danny paused in his strides, looking back at the male...was this guy serious? The boy looked ready to bolt at any second now, but he made no move to run. The outfit...it reminded him of the rumors that he'd heard during his stay here...
"Are you...the Batter? The one who wants to kill all spectres..." Zacharie told him this guy was crazy...but it won't stop Danny from at least attempting to reason with him. He wasn't one to resort to violence if he didn't have to, "...because I'm not a spectre...I'm a ghost...and yeah, there's a difference. All spectres are violent creatures, but ghosts...not all of us are evil." He's trying to come off as peaceful here, "I...I want to help...somehow. Just...ease up on the baseball bat, alright?" Assuming this guy isn't human - and Danny can definitely feel something off about him - and what Zacharie said... "I don't want any trouble..."

Batter tilted his head slightly as he listened to the teen s p e c t r e speak. How dare they try to reason with him. This impure being had no business even living, much less speaking. And to make it worse, they were speaking to him. The Batter. The Purifier. This abomination dared to speak with him.
"Be quiet. Just be quiet. You do not deserve to speak. You do not deserve to live, you impure, evil demon."
The baseball attire clad man drummed his fingers on the blood and ectoplasm covered bat he wielded. Small amounts of the liquids rubbed onto his fingers as he did this, the bright red of the mixture contrasting against his pale white skin.
"... You do not want to help. Do not lie. I know what you are. Do not try to trick me. I know you are simply trying to kill me. You damned spectre."

"Why? Because I'm not from here?? Because I'm not 'human'? What do I have to do then...to prove that I'm not a spectre? Hmm? I'm fairly sure that I can actually...I've got a beating heart under this chest...I'm not exactly dead I'm just...different. I wasn't always...like this."
He motioned to himself, "Zacharie said you were crazy...that you can't be reasoned with...like you're some kind of crazy animal. I was hoping to prove him wrong - I can be an ally. I know how to fight these things...or at least, I have an idea. Please...just hear me out on this!" He flew up a bit, out of the Batter's reach

Batter snapped at the other, obviously annoyed at this point.
"Shut up! You are a spectre! I can tell! And I'm never wrong about these kind of things! N e v e r!"
The monochrome baseball player growled softly in an inhumane way. He definitely wasn't a human, that was for sure. This was only confirmed farther when he pushed his hat up to look at the teenager, revealing four bright red eyes.
"Now stay quiet and get purified."
The man jumped up and swung his baseball bat at the other male with alarming speed.

The moment Danny saw the man move, he turned himself intangible in hopes that the bat would just phase through him...and took to the air as he glared at the man
"Please! Just listen for once! I don't want to hurt you!"
It was obvious he was holding back - that Danny had no intention of attacking. And he was unphased by the four eyes...there have been many much more terrifying things roaming the ghost zone.
"I'm not a spectre! What do I have to do to prove that to you?! Be pure...dude, you're not exactly pure yourself! A pure person would not even think of doing what you're trying to do...at least I'm being merciful here!"
Of course...if he were given no other choice, Danny would inevitably fight back...maybe if he put Batter in a position where he thought he'd be killed...because Danny has never killed anyone before. And he wasn't about to start now. But, that was a last resort plan...he wasn't about to bring violence into this, even though Batter already had.

Batter stared down at the skeleton, an emotionless expression on his face. What even was this creature? They seemed very... Odd. They didn't look like any other creature he had seen before.
Ignoring the other's comment, Batter crouched down so he was eye level with the mystery creature.

The man's voice seemed to break and turn somewhat animalistic with those two particular words. He definitely didn't sound natural, that's for sure. Of course, he had heard his voice do this multiple times before, but other people were often a bit... Startled, to say the least, when first hearing his voice change.

That seemed quite accurate of what he meant, and Batter was content with that. Hopefully the other would understand what he was saying to the fullest.

The synth detective came to stop at the other's demands. Turning his head just a bit, just so he could look at the man through the corner of his eye. The glowing yellow irises would immediately tell one that Nick isn't human. He doesn't turn to face him, though,

He seems surprisingly unphased by the other's rather demanding voice, and even goes as far as to light a cigarette as he waits for the batter to draw closer.

Batter's voice became almost... Broken sounding when he said the words 'pure' and 'purified'. It was something that often happened to him. But he really didn't mind; he just wanted to know the answer to his questions.
