I'm sure they wore something over it, though. I don't have to be an "expert on Japanese culture" to know that. That's just common fucking sense. You've got huge tits, you put something on them besides duct tape. When you're fighting with swords, you don't want two sacks of exposed flesh the size of pumpkins hanging in the breeze. Someone is going to take advantage of the situation and put a blade in them. You can be the best damn fighter there ever was and still die because somebody jabbed a spear in your disgustingly oversized breasts and created an opening for everyone else. That's another problem, by the way. You draw something as hilariously juvenile as that and expect me to take a damn thing you say seriously. There's no high road for people who draw watermelon-tits, buddy.

At the risk of being labeled as a "busybody-nose-sticker-into-other-people 's-buisness", allow me to state a couple of things.

A) your art is good. Always open with the flattery!

b) The question with Kev's "big busty samaurai chick" pic, is that one cannot tell whether he is attempting to be historically accurate. Yes, there were women doing that back then. Yes, they probably DID tape themselves, as the bra didn't make an appearance till later....however....breasts are a percentage of one's body weight. Asians as a general rule are small, so one would expect the chest area to be small as well. Admittedly, I'd have taped mine a lil better, too....

I'm in a historical reenactment society...... some chicks use duct tape, when they fight, but regulations specify they need *armor*, as well.

.........However, IF Kev is NOT trying to be historically accurate, lighten up. I don't get into the "big and busty" kind of art, myself, but if that's what fllicks his bic, so be it.

Yeah, I know. And I agree with his statement wholeheartedly. As paleowildlife artists our job is to present dinosaurs and other extinct lifeforms to our audience as they really were--living, breathing animals that just did what they did--not as monsters.
It's just that I have a thing about the term "aleoart". It just doesn't describe fully what I'm trying to achieve with my work.
Anyway... I appreciated the quote. And thanx for adding me to your friends list. Hopefully I'll get some good stuff up eventually.
