For putting them on a platform, it depends. Usually I put them on before baking, since the baking itself helps the sculpture stick to the base. To add stability I often stick in a bit of wire (like into a foot) and into the base before baking them.

So do you have to do any specific things to make them stick to the platform? Or do you just put them on and apply pressure? And are your miniatures made from all polymer clay?

I usually put them on and apply light pressure, and then leave them for a few minutes (the clay I use now can get really goopy if your hands are too warm XC )
All my miniatures are made from sculpey/super sculpey, which you can get in craft stores~

My commissions start at $10 for average pokemon (pikachu for example) and $12 for human characters.
I am currently full up on commissions, but if you'd like I can let you know when I am finished with them and maybe we can work something out
