# About me
I' m slow at updating stuff like this, but the last one seemed like ages away so:Hi ! I m Merry* or Glowwyrm. Around 3/4 a year ago (last parts of 2017) , I decided to take my art really serious and quit what I was recently doing (studying a consecutive master for the second time ) , to just focus on that. After school most people discouraged me in pursuing that dream, but after some pretty unpleasant years and experiences I just want to do it now !
So at the current state my DA Gallery is quite unrefined and raw and I just post lots of Stuff from my practices and daily sketches so everyone, including myself, can see what progress I do. For most times I am horrible in acknowledging any progress or success I make/ have. I am easy to inspire and not to sure what exactly I will do in the end, because I can t decide yet if I love environmental design more or characters. I m simply lot more used to drawing characters, because that I enjoyed for almost my whole life, even though most of my older sketches are very bad :D
I m new to color , too. Shocking for my age (early 30s) - I know. So go easy on me in that field.
I always like comments and critique to get better and if any of you people out there has something else to say or ask . just do. :3

Wie letztes Mal, für alle die deutsch, aber kein englisch sprechen:
Hej, ich bin Merry* oder Glowwyrm.
In kurz; ich versuche seit Ende letzten Jahres (2017) Kunst und meine Fähigkeiten ernst zu nehmen und verfolge den Traum irgendwann fest von Kunst leben zu können. Nach der Schule wurde ich von meinem Umfeld eher entmutigt so etwas zu tun und habe ersteinmal etliche Jahre mit Studieren und diesem und jenem verbracht und brauchte eine lange Zeit und viele (auch nicht sonderlich tolle ) Erfahrungen um den Entschluss zu fassen mich nicht länger meiner liebsten Tätigkeit als Perspektive im Leben zu verwehren und übe seitdem so viel ich nur kann.
Meine DA Gallerie ist zur Zeit ein stetiger Stand meiner aktuellen Fähigkeiten. Ich uploade im wesentlichen eine Auswahl meiner Übungen und Skizzen um einen stetigen Prozess betrachten zu können, da ich selbst ziemlich schlecht darin bin an zu erkennen Fortschritte zu machen. Ihr findet hier also eine Bandbreite von allem was mir so aus dem Hirn kommt. Bisher ziemlich wenige meiner "aufwendigeren" Bilder, da ich noch ziemlich frisch mit allem bin, was mit Farbe zu tun hat und ich deshalb vor allem meine digitalen Sachen oft noch zu "schlecht" finde um sie zu präsentieren. Gebt mir Zeit ^.-

So as an closer : I'd really like to get to know some of you out there more, to find some friends to art together ;). My RL circle of friends isn t the most artsy one, so I often end up drawing and learning alone.

They are fantastic pencils
They blend and layer really well. Took me a long time to learn and still developing new techniques now.
By changing the nib length, angle and pressure you can get everything form a watercolour style wash to a solid block animated style colour.
