Oh gosh I know what you mean! I tried to savour Strobe Edge, but I ended up having a total reading binge towards the end. x'D I had to know what happened next, lol.
Yeahhh I was the same. ;w; I ended up reading it from the beginning again tbh. Though to be fair, I had absolutely nothing else to do at the time, hahaha. x'D

As for tips, this will probably sound boring, but I think the best thing to do when making manga is to plan it out carefully. It'll make it so much easier when you come to draw it! I have a little tutorial that might help with this: [link]

Another thing that will help (I've said this in the tutorial but I'll just say it again lol XD) is drawing your main characters as many times as possible. The more you draw them, the easier they'll become to draw and the better you'll get at drawing consistently. I find a fun way to do this is to draw mini sketch comics - that way, you'll also be practicing putting things in comic form.

There are loads of great resources and tutorials over at #Manga-Apps , too! I'd really recommend joining and having a look through their stuff.

As for the cover, to be honest I didn't have to do much designing, since I just based it off the original Fruits Basket comic covers. XD As for how I actually made it, I first drew the lineart in Manga Studio (a great program for drawing manga if you're able to get it, though it's a little difficult to get used to - but Photoshop or Gimp can be used fairly easily instead if you want.) and then coloured in Photoshop. After I finished, I played around with Photoshop for a bit to do the background and title. I don't want to bore you with the details, though, unless you actually want me to. XD
