Ahmun is the species name. At the moment, I don't have any art of specific Ahmun characters, though I've got various ideas bouncing around.

Also, for the quality of your art, the prices are really, really good! I don't really have the money to commish anything now, but maybe once I've saved up enough or my work increases, I'll commish some stuff?

Thank you! Since one of the settings 'rules' (not in-universe, but official all the same) is that characters need to be named/designed in some way after a colour. I wanted to create a character based (very, very loosely - I make no claims to accuracy) South and East African designs, and found about a colour called 'African Violet', derived from... well, the African Violet. Its purple, and the the pollen is yellow/orange, so I decided to give her a purple focused design, with yellow/orange as a contrasting secondary colour.

'Urujauni' is Swahili for Violet, if Google Translate is to believed - Ukungu means 'Mist' (same deal), which is fitting of her powers over the states of matter and her bold, if not always honest, personality: she's 'full of hot air', as they say.

So many of the requests I've gotten are all the same original characters. Generic white/japanese ocs wearing the same cute/cool clothing. I have nothing against white or asian people (I mean I'm Japanese), but it's just so repetitive. 

I'm glad you put a lot of thought into your character, even researching their culture and language. She's very unique and it makes me happy that there are people who can still make characters that aren't mary sues. If you plan on making anymore ocs I'd be happy to draw them for you

I... I actually have quite a lot of OCs, though I must admit I haven't put quite as much thought into most of them (and even Urujauni has mostly undergone her development since I've been RPing using her, rather than all of it happening at her creation).

I suppose I would request some of the other characters from the same RP? But there's fifteen of them, and they vary quite a bit in how 'different' they all are. They've all proven to be quite interesting, I think, but it's still quite a lot of characters.

Wow that's a lot of characters, but I went through them and I really like the fauna characters (Love Calypso!)
I can do a couple more as requests, cause I've got other requests as well as personal pieces to work on.

I'm not sure about commissions since I don't think my art is good enough to charge... but if it's really cheap then I guess? I have to think about it. 

But sheesh I realized you started watching me all the way back in 2012. Like damn I thought people would have left after I was inactive for so long. So this will be "thanks" for being cool

Oh, thank you! There's no deadline or anything, though, so I wouldn't worry too much. And the commission thing - I leave it up to you, but know that I'm happy to pay.

All I'd ask is that the others be coloured in, more because it'd feel strange for them not to be, or something (since the notion of 'characters derived from colour' is a thing)?

And no problem - your artwork is good, and I'd only actually 'un follow' someone if I thought their artwork was becoming gross or creepy, like really violent or fetish art or pin-ups something? I dunno. -shrug-

Yup, I'm gonna color them in! I will probably draw Calypso and Ieria Jade if that's okay? For Calypso is it alright if I slightly alter the design used for her? Like adding more bird elements?

And uh, I really want to do fan art of The Last of Us (which is a zombie game) so it will probably be kinda gross, but I will be sure to tag it as mature. And it's mostly the characters I'll be drawing anyways. And I do draw slightly "sexy" stuff (like monster girls, I plan on doing the 30 day challenge) but I don't show anything.

Since Calypso's current artwork is 'unofficial' and therefore more of an approximation than an exact design, then feel free! Especially since you're doing it as a request, too. Thank you again.

I've shown the others the artwork of Urujauni, and several have said they'd happily commission artwork of the other OCs (myself included).

And I wouldn't worry about the content of your art too much. I've already looked through your gallery, none of it really bothers me, especially when it's got maturity tags and what have you. :3
