there is satin stitching that alot of people start out with (making eyes and shapes out of fabric layering), or even develop to! it can give a nice touch and a bit more freedom in terms of making 3D lashes for example! I started off using iron-ons on my earlier plushies! but a embroidery machine is nice to get eventually, there are some start ones that isnt overly expensive!

It does! though i would recommend satin stitch before iron on (when you're sewing fabric onto fabric) as that would hold better. There is the beginner Brother embroidery machines, going from 700$ and up i belive! the ones that is maxed to 100x100mm embroideries
