1. US law states that if a person is not 18 years of age, it is considered pedophilia if in a romantic relationship with an adult.
Since Deviant art abides by US law they must remove all pedophilic art. or they risk getting sued
2. Harry is under 18 which means its ilegial for him and snape to be in an romantic relationship.
3. Student- teacher relation shiips are frowned up[on by many people. Also, there is a difference between writing and drawn out art. Drawn out art is much more ovbious and in your face then writing. Furthermore as I stated in #1, its illigal to depict a young adult (under 18) with an adult (over 18) and they can get sued.
4. You are a retard. And the whole 'dont like, dont look" is retarded and is the biggest excuse in the world for people who have shit to hide or as an excuse to not improve in their art.
5. They had every right to delete her shit. Its pedophilia and if they dont want to get sued then illegial shit like this must be removed. Plus she agreed to the rules of this site when she joined. One rule was "no child under the age of 18 is considered a conserning adult" so its her fault for not reading the damn rules.

Your naivety astounds me. Your whole argument is Harry was not 18, and you would be right if that was in fact how Tripperfunster drew Harry. However, she did not. I don't know if you've ever looked at her art before, but Harry is obviously not under age in her art. Because of that it wasn't pedophilia. Now as to your hyper-aging argument, this is Tripperfunster's own interpretation. It is an AU world where Harry is now 18 and Snape survived. I don't know if you've noticed, but there are many artworks and stories where this has in fact happened. And your excuse of artwork being worse than writing is pathetic. What you basically just said is I could write a smut fic with Harry being a child and there's nothing wrong with that. There is no difference. If a person is depicted underage than it was wrong, but the problem is he wasn't. If Harry was in fact depicted as a child I would completely agree with you. I dislike pedophilia just as much, if not more so than you do. However, because Harry was not depicted as a child it isn't. So do us all a favor and shut your uneducated mouth, because you obviously know nothing about what you're talking about or the world of fan art/fiction.

Thanks, I feel a little foolish with myself as well. Yes I enjoy Tripperfunster's work, and I do feel they are taking down her work needlessly. However, it is all a matter on how you interpret it. Though I do know one thing, they are not going to stop all the Snarry in the world. And if all of the people in the artwork are 18 and older there isn't a reason to take the work down. I just have a feeling someone got their panties in a twist and decided to go after her. It's honestly sad.

Perhapse the person going after her really views it as pedophillia? If so then isn't what that person doing is right, at least in there eyes? So as you said it is all a matter of interpretation. Plus hyperaging is against the rules. I do wish severus had survived though. His death was bullshit.
As for the mods. I do agree with them, however I do think that they need to fix some shit. For instance I am currently trying to get a very childish and block happy fetish gm removed from her position because she is not fit for it. But the da never listens.
What we need are wise, neutral and calm da admins and a site security update.
Basically this site sucks and as bad as this sounds I think tripper might want to go to a site that allows work like hers. She will be happier.

You are right about Severus' death. It just is so stupid. I mean common, he's a potions master for crying out loud. He's around the snake constantly. Logic says he would have had a back up plan.
Like I said, if I truly believed it to be pedophilia I would think it was right for it to be taken down. However, I don't see it as that. I've never truly had a problem with DA mods cause I'm usually a quiet person, and refrain from putting certain art on my page. But I do think that if DA took someone's art down they should at least explain why. They owe the artist that much, and that way they can improve their art so it doesn't happen again.

I like to think that Severus swallowed an anti venom or some shit before nagini bit him. So after he fainted his body would be healing himself. But maybe he was just so tired of life that he felt it was pointless to live on. You cant blame him though. Abused physically and mentally by his parents and then at hogwarts. Then he's caste aside by dumbledore for the gryffindors.
Well, if I may speak for them. She, in there, my and other peoples minds draw pedophilia. My advice to her would be to stop drawing snapexany student. Because as I mentioned earlier that if she re uploads the pics or keeps at it she will be banned.
