Saw your post on Kabutos wall! You've got the base skills, just keep on painting and drawing! Im sure you'll make it.
Also, I encourage you to check out Pasadena Art Center of Design's Entertainment Design program. Its expensive, but its the number one program for concept art!

What do you think of Toronto's Max the Mutt Animation School's course for concept art? Do you think it would be enough education in concept art to get a position in a company like Ubisoft?

It does look nice, definitely good for a start- i would recommend taking some technical classes online as well.
I have to say there is no way anyone at the starter level would get into Ubisoft or any other major company.
Most places like that require at least 4 yrs of experience before any job; and alot more technical skill than any college is going to give a student. You would need to work alot more, or be literally a prodigy not only in your class but a prodigy compared to all the classes in the US!
Over time you will be able to develop skills, but you need to be reeeally good to get a position in a major game company. I had a friend working for 6 years before he got a position at Bethesda.

I see. Well that kinda sucks XD I was hoping to settle down right after graduating from there. So how does a concept artist make a living before getting into a major game company? I'm assuming they travel a lot? How much do they usually get paid? :S And thanks for the recommendation. I saw some online classes being offered at conceptart.org, so I'll definitely check that out

you wont get paid much, most of the time after college is doing intern work for a while. You probably arent going to make a living even when working for companies; art isnt for people looking for money, its for people who are passionate and willing to sacrifice to work at what they love to do. If you are looking to get alot of money then i wouldnt suggest going into art to be honest
