I pretty much try anything. I've found even some of the less reliable brands can have some pretty good colors. I grew up in theater, so I have a lot of Ben Nye stuff which tends to be pretty vibrant, but I have tons of different brands sitting around lol

sorry, yes I've been randomly drawing sketches and making notes. noting too concrete yet though. I'm working on it I just work 8+ hours a day in a field not related to makeup so time gets tight. But I am working on it ^_^

well, I've done one tutorial ([link] ) but it was a picture one rather than doing a live one like most of the youtubers. I think I babble too much and go off on too many tangents to do live action ones lol. I mostly used my YouTube for chattering to my friends and family while I was in Japan. Now I've been using it to chatter to my friends in Japan lol.

My god, you're amazing! I've played with make up all my life, and still haven't gotten to your level. Every time I see one of your eye make up pictures, I'm speechless. 
I just want to thank you, because you've helped me a lot. I wear excessive eye make up every day, and you've given me a lot more options\ideas. Also, seeing the way you blend your eye shadow has helped me a lot with my blending.

So, on a side note, I believe you mentioned somewhere about being in Japan. (teaching english) I've always wanted to visit Japan. It's one of my obsessions. So, is there anything or anywhere in particular that you would recommend someone go visit? I plan to go there someday. (I'm building up quite a list of things I want to do there.) Also, does that mean you know Japanese?

Heh, not as many as you would think probably lol. I haven't been able to upload anything in quite some time though. Hopefully soon. There are some really talented makeup artists in m favorites though if you wanna check those out.
Yes I'm currently living in Japan, but I'm probably going to be moving back to the States at the en of March. It really depends on what you're into. I would definitely suggest being here for spring though when the sakura are in bloom.

Question. What eyeshadow base/s do you use for your blue eyeshadows? I've got Urban Decay's Primer Potion and MAC paint in bare canvas and moss scape, but none of them seem to pick up the colors I've got. I don't know how often you use MAC, but the blues I'm trying to use are the most stubborn colors on the planet.

what blue eye shadows are you using?
With some of my stubborn blues I actually use a white kohl eye liner pencil as a base. You'll still want to use UDPP or some other primer first because the texture of the pencil will lead it to crease sooner if you don't. Also, don't use a lot of the pencil. I typically scribble a bit on my lid and blend it out with a brush so my lid has a bit of an opaque white color. The bit of white and tacky texture of the pencil should help a lot.

I keep hearing that white bases are the best options. I'm using some frosts and a satin eyeshadow by MAC. You may have heard of Electric Eel? Stubborn and it won't go on pretty as hard as I try. MAC just came out with some Chromalines which seem to be incredible as a base and a liner. I'm debating between a white one of those or Make Up Forever's white flash eyeshadow. It's a cream, and like the pencil, it'd need a base.
