You start off with a level 5 pokemon but you encounter lower level pokemon at first as you go you'll level up the max is @ level 100 uwu

no no, I meant in wifi battles, does the pokemon automatically get set to lv 100 or the lv it's currently at when you battle someone on wifi?

Yeah yeah! I remember having shinies, I just, I would love looking at them like "holy shit are you gorgeous" 

the first time I encountered a shiny I didn't even know what it was and I killed it and I regret it so much, it wasn't much though, just a Gastrodon BUT STILL. Either way the only shiny I ever caught besides the easy to get Gyarados, was Murkrow even though I have no idea what happen to it. What was the first shiny you ever caught/bred?

Gastrodon is one of my favs yo

I used to train a lot where you would find Gastrodon (in Diamond) that it became a zubat for me gomen ;;
