You know I think I understand what you've been going through. Not specifically about the gender issues but clinical depression kind of runs in my family and truthfully I've gone into some pretty dark places the past few years. It's really one of the reasons I disappeared off the internet for a while.

... I'm sure you don't wanna hear any of this from me, but I've done some pretty awful things as a result of my hurt and gone to pretty great lengths in the hopes of making things better. Honestly? I wouldn't be alive right now if it wasn't for my faith in God, and I guess I just... I don't want you to be disappointed if things don't turn out the way you expected.
This is of course your life and your choice but I feel very strongly that I have to caution you. Because to me this seems like a more superficial solution to a much deeper issue, and I know how those sorts of solutions turn out.

Well had my first meeting last week and still have a bruise on my arm from the needle, or do you mean my first day on hormones, because it'll take like a month for changes to show or something.
