Yeah actually I had some drama going on too that was stressing me out But I kinda ran away from it and just hung out with the friends I made AT the con for the rest of the weekend. XD

Ahahaha I really truly believe everyone agrees he was the BEST Snow there, but alas he does not have a DA. Lol you're the second person to ask me. XD

But despite the drama this year was actually my best so far! Ive been going to AN for 5 years and I had a blast, especially with my cosplay. x)

Lol it was a total mess really...I could have stuck it out, but there was just too much out to ruin my weekend I was like NOPE NOT GANNA HAPPEN.

Ahh there was lotsof Snows at AN though! Lol I actually missed 2009 so I was ecstatic for this AN and was determined to not let anything ruin it, which is why I just ducked out of the drama even if it meant being alone XD Although I had made friends in line so I wasn't worried lol

Hmm I saw a few yeah, although one of my favourite Lightning's was one that actually didn't have a wig and just had her red hair. She was just an awesome person~ (:

This is actually the first con that Ive been so social! Ahaha, but I love it, especially finding people afterwards on DA and Facebook it's awesome! Cause then you already have the kickoff conversation of AN and cosplay and such and it's just a great way to make friends!

WELL... I half did. LOL... I actually have very limited knowledge of sewing and such, and did buy the costume (cheater, I know...but Lightning's cosplay is so very complicated and detailed @_@ ) uhm but I got ripped off >_<; lol... I shopped for the longest time - I know all the versions of her cosplay available on ebay, moon costumes and such and so on, but when I decided to cosplay Lightning (like 3 months before the con) I was rushed and thought I found the perfect most accurate version on some other website...although I was skeptical, I wasnt enough. :/ What I received was a cheap cop-out, cut corners version of the cosplay I wanted. >_< Depressed and gloomed over it for a good month, and then super last minute tried to fix it up as best I could lol. So I sort of made it mind from building it up from a sort of "base".

I'm still a bit disappointed because it's not to my standards (which generally, I have extremely HIGH standards LOL) but it worked out, people were impressed and I had a great time still can't help but want it to be absolutely perfect. XD

Oh and my sword a friend made for me. (:

Yeah no matter what buying online has it's risks. I haven't had many bad experiences buying online before so I guess I let my guard down. D:

I had to do quite a few things, a lot of it was details but being a perfectionist I knew every single thing that was wrong with the design lol. I had to find clasps and some scrap leather to make and attach the buckles on the jacket, I had to shorten and resew where the straps on the shoulders as well. Shorten the cape cause it was dragging on the floor lol. Also I WANTED to add zippers to the skirt cause, again, cheap ass design only put a strip of white fabric there instead. Thing was yes the darn thing was tailored to my size, there wasn't enough fabric to be able to add actual zippers, so to my dismay I had to settle for superglueing just the zipper part at the bottom lol...The bag as well, I had to compromise and bought one that sort of worked from Bently, cause the one they send was just completely and utterly WRONG... It was ridiculous. I also dont even like the fabric they used much either, the cape is some stupid fake satin shiny shit which her cape is NOT bright shiny red D: it annoys meeee...

Uhm uhm. Also had to makeshift my own gloves. The ones they sent were standard cheap ass size that didnt fit, so I bought black gloves, used the fake brass knuckle crap out their gloves and sewed that on and painted it the right colour.

The shoulder pauldron I did not wear, because again, it was cheap and oversized it was impossible and too humiliating to wear. XD

Boots I bought for a good price at Sirens. For those I knew I wanted boots that would work, but that I would love and wear regularly to be able to make use of other than cosplay.

Ah... and yeah last thing I had to resize the belts and make new holes for them to even fit me. Lol...

YEP. All done in like, a month. I was stressing and depressing all over the place. XD; I the "base" costume as I call it now, I payed uhm... over 100$ but, ripped off, did not get what I paid for. -.-'

Well if you used it as a base, it's not soo bad I guess, but when you're expecting a outfit to be ready to wear, yeah I would be pissed off.

I'd probably just stick to ebay...there's a lot more buyer protection, I got my wig from an ebay store and it was perfect~ but yep always a risk >o<

Yeah rofl and I had to go HUNTING for the clasps for the jacket, and still I had to settle for it not being exact - which as a perfectionist drove me crazy. D:

I think it was... Okbuynow, which is basically Lightinthebox under a different name... I should have been more careful. >_< Urgg I feel so stupid, but I'm still new at cosplay anyway so I guess lesson learned. Ahaha yes I did! I recognized you! (Actually, it was the camera that made me certain) I was Lightning, I think you were the only Vanille I took a photo with LOL so I wanted to make sure to watch you in case you were going to post photos!

You were gorgeous by the way~!

Im sure you saw lots of Lightning's, but if you remember the in the Crafts Area by the lineup to go into Dealer's room, that's where we were. And then we had to hug and pose with the Squall over the railing that was in line LOL I really hope that didn't hurt your back too much!

I don't mind if you don't remember, I tend to have a good memory for certain things. <3
