I'm still figuring out stuff like Flash and Photoshop, so I'm still not at a level to make art on the go, still hope to be one day, just trying to improve for now

Cool. Once you get to a point would be fun to see a Miscliks short in flash. Anything really I think you could do some funny little cartoons. I am just pusing Miscliks as I am a fan of that show.

Cool, do you have a work-up of it on DA? I wouldn't mind seeing it, or giving my thoughts if I had any. Also, do you listen to podcasts? There's several good pen-and-paper games podcasts out there, but the one that inspired me was Fear the Boot, those guys do whole episodes about creating your own game.

A link would be good, thanks, but why not put it on DA? And I can really only recommend Fear the Boot; I know there are other gaming podcasts out there but it's the only one I've listened to and they've had several episodes directly related to creating your own game.

I guess I can put some info on DA. I will be creating code to go with it. I am aiming to create a pin and paper game that can be played online if needed. I am going to create core game mechanics  that people can download and play at home. Than I will have a full world that I create where people can play online.

Yep I found Fear the Boot and think it will come in handy bookmarked it for later use.

I always find that writing down my thoughts in a form that others can understand (as compared to just existing up in my head) helps fix little problems I didn't see before ... and when you've got it down it doesn't hurt to show it to others for critique! Wow, so is this a scaled-down MMO or just a MUD type of game?

Yep getting it down is always good. I tend to find it a bit of a pain doing it as I fumble up a bit here and there. I am working on getting more thoughts out on paper or a word doc of some type.  

I am looking to create a MMORPG of sort mainly text and story driven with images to spice it up.

 www.mediwar.com/ and www.samuraioflegend.com/login.… are limited examples of what I am looking to create. I am also looking to create a clone of sorts of mediwar but that is another thing all on its on. Anyway you motivated me a bit so I will be working on a design for my site and get some very basic stuff up on here and it soon.
