I'm a 24-year old Chinese-American librarian who enjoys writing in my free time. I mostly read historical fiction set in Europe during the 1800's. My favorite book is The Tea Rose by Jennifer Donnelly.

I've read the Inuyasha manga, that being the only manga I've ever read, and I think that's where my fanfiction writing will be mostly centered in. That story just seems so fun to play around with, all the possibilities and whatnot. It's nothing like my reading material. The normal stuff doesn't inspire the ideas that the series does. I'll write only canon stories, kudos to those who write AU but that isn't my cup of tea.

I also write lots of romance. I'm a hopeless romantic at heart, dreaming of the perfect man, so the genre works very well for me. If you don't enjoy romance, you probably won't enjoy mine. I hope you do like my stories though if you can stand romance.

I never watched the animeΒ , just read the manga. I've been slowly reading the series over the past three years, checking out one volume at a time from the library. I read it because we'd had issues in stock ever since I started working at the library and it kept getting checked out so I thought I'd go ahead. Finally read the last volume two weeks ago and I had so many ideas that I jumped into MS Note, wrote them down, and then went looking for the fandom.Β 


I hope I'll be around a while too. Seems like fun.Β

Ah. Yeah, haven't seen the anime, probably won't. Β Anime and manga typically aren't my style, but I enjoyed Rumiko Takahashi's style of art and, of course, the story.
