I did! It was fun. I went to a concert and a baseball game and had lots of fun downtime with my Granny <3

downtime with Granny sounds like a great vacation. what kind of concert?

our trip was fun too, me and Aubyn rode horses through the woods up hills and across a creek,[Roys too heavy to ride a horse]

we went to the drive through Zoo in Springfeild and fed animals and got licked by them, a camel stole our animal food bag.

we ROde the Duck which is an amphibious tourbus thing, and had dinner at the Dolly Parton stampede which is a dinner show with hourses.

and me and Aubyn make bead bracelets in the hotel and I went to the 1$ jewelry store.

and in KC we visited with Tim Amanda and Kimberly both on the way there and on the way back, and on the way back we also got to go to the temple while Aubyn stayed with them, and we took them out for lunch.

My aunt's step-sons have a hard-rock/punk band. I enjoy their music quite a bit, and I've been to a couple of their shows before, but this was the best so far! It was a pretty small show, in a bar (it was an 18+ concert, but people under 21 obviously couldn't drink), and it was just a very good set. The opening band was really good, too, which can make a huge difference. It was really good! Plus, I got a hug from the drummer! (This is common because Adam hugs family all the time, but it is still cool to say that I hugged the drummer of a band! XD)

Hey, that sounds really nice and relaxing. Can Aubyn ride by herself or did you ride the same horse? I have not ridden a horse in a long time, and never for an actual Distance.

The Duck thing sounds fantastic! and I suppose having a horse show with dinner could be fun! and yay for bead bracelets and 1$ jewelry!

Well that sounds like a very lovely trip! Now you are back and Aubyn is back in school, and Angie is in KC, so how has the past couple of weeks been?

lol--drummer hugs---well done, sounds like a great time.

She rode her own horse. Aubyn is much less afraid of being on a horse than me but I'm slightly better at telling the horse to stay on the path and keep going. hers kept going off into the woods, mine kept stopping to eat grass and weeds on the trail.

the past few weeks have been hectic, with getting Aubyn back in school and all the IEP trouble which Is still not resolved. She had teeth pulled this morning, so she's home for the day resting.

Angie called today. she's still trying to get her school started[transcript trouble] and we might camp at the pow wow on the friday of labor day weekend

Ahh, horses are sometimes stubborn like that sometimes XD But still sounds like fun.

icky about her teeth being pulled, but she must have needed it. and I am sorry that you are still having IEP trouble.

Transcript trouble! That sucks. I might be going to Kansas City the weekend of Labor Day, but I'm not sure yet.

I know! I didn't know Angie was possibly coming down then before the plans to go to KC were made... We've been sort of planning this for a few months, actually. My mom's brother + family that lives in Iowa are coming down to spend the weekend with Granny. Like I said, we aren't sure yet if it's going to work out.

yes it would, in a sense. I could see negatives there, though... Kind of like the way Hermione uses the time-travel necklace thing in that one book (I think the 3rd one?). I don't know. I'm feeling really contrary and discontented this week. I'll check back in a week and see how I feel about this.
