Not a ton. Just had some shoulder surgery due to an injury I got on my last deployment, so I'm kind of limited to sitting here being unproductive for a month hah.

And currently I don't have a job so I read a lot of books and take care of all of the animals that live at my house. But for the most part I'm pretty lazy.

Sounds like a fun time. I haven't read an actual book in a couple of years now. Kind of sad, I think. I just take care of my two dogs when I'm home. They're usually pretty good fun, at least. And sometimes being lazy is a good thing hah.

I'm a nuclear engineering laboratory technician on a fast attack submarine. I'm one of the very few people qualified to handle nuclear chemistry and radiological controls.

Actually, it's pretty safe. I just got unlucky and fell. I'd say it's genuinely safer than most engineering jobs. But, cool, maybe so. Haha.

Eh, depends on that day. It can be really challenging and I don't think anyone enjoys a deployment, but it is a stable and steady job. And I don't look bad in a uniform either hah.

Hah, well, I'm still in the regular Navy too so I wear one every day for work. We have like six different uniforms, depending on what we're doing. Generally we wear a blue camo for most things.

Actually, it's usually so damn hot! They're super thick and they kill me in Hawaii. In Japan they were much more reasonable, though.

Ah gotcha! I'd love to see how it looks once it heals up. I've never had any piercings, just tattoos. Maybe one day hah.
The shoulder is just... there. I'm limited a lot by what I can't do, but I'm trying my best to get through it. I'm doing physical therapy twice a week, but so far I haven't noticed much change.

I used to all amped up and super type A. The Navy kind of beat that down a bit, but I still try to be optimistic within reason these days.
