Dragon Ball characters project F.A.QDragon Ball Characters Project is a fan project created by fans around the whole world.
We are a team of fans who just want to create something special for ourselves and for all the fans around the world.
We DON'T do Fanarts, we digitally restore OFFICIAL illustrations, for the people who want to enjoy them.
As a team, we have a main goal, which is, releasing cards of all the anime (Main series, Movies, TVSpecials, animated stories such as Playdia videogames, and OVAs) all the characters, with all their transformations, clothes... etc.
Of course, we don't claim these images as ours, these images are from Toei Animation or Shueisha. We claim as ours the restorations we do.
We have decided to create a F.A.Q (Frequently Asked Questions) so you can understand what you can see here.

YO DBCProject, it's TimeToGoHero. Sorry that my parting was abrupt, but I got a surprise for you. Went up looking for official artwork of Nappa without his armor and OH boy did a find quite a few; I even found a few bonuses of Nappa that nobody has seen before (except in Japan) so I think you'll be very pleased. I guess you could say it's OVER 9000!!! There are also some other goodies for you too, some I think you'll like that I thought you guys would like to render off. Now some aren't like completely full-bodied; and also video games of the DB characters could be considered official artwork, but I think you guys know what you're doing so we will see.
Also not sure if One Piece can be considered a DB render request since they made crossover along with an upcoming one so I don't know, let know what you think. In the mean time he's you're treat pal! I heap load of DB cards for the picking! Now you're gonna have to unzip the folder, but that's no real problem, hahahahaha!.

I've seen that you had other account too.
Being honest, the only one that could be useful is the one that doesn't have armour and is opening his mouth, but that's a SD (or chibi) kind of illustration, and we would have to change a lot of stuff to make it fit to our stuff
The rest of the stuff, the Haired nappa is useful and we already have that picture, which we will use in a future card, but the other ones are manga panels, or fanarts, or videogame stuff that's is not the stuff we use
We prefer to wait to see if we can see a proper illustration of Nappa without armor!

As official as it gets, the manga and cards as well as Xenoverse pics are official like the promo art.
In turn with the SD and cards of Nappa and other characters they are official illustrations. Sadly as far as I know Nappa lacks a promo art w/o his armor. But I know you guys can pull something up with your sleeve you're all very creative and talented to even make half a body render full.
I hope you can consider this, and thanks for replying and give your best shot. Also can you send that picture of the Haired Nappa card you have. I'd really like to see yours.

No, we restore illustrations, the manga isn't coloured plus these are not illustrations and we wuld have to make up a colouring, and the Xenoverse pics are not illustrations. Plus we are making "renewed style" of everything, so the style of the manga for Nappa doesn't work.

Yes you restore illustrations. Give one exact reason how these aren't "OFFICIAL" illustrations (except the screenshots); and if you don't mind me asking wouldn't it make sense to use the "Color Select" from previous renders to make up the color for new renders?
And I'm afraid I don't follow you, Now I know you guys do a renew style, but couldn't you renew the manga styles like you do in the promo illustrations? Just a thought.
Yeah that is what I asking for. I wanna better quality one cause it is very hard to find these rarities; you know?
