I have a huge collection of safety eyes built up over the years i've been sewing and their origin varies. Some are from local craft stores but most are bought in bulk from suppliers in Europe or abroad. Ebay, Aliexpress are places for bulk purchases.

yea if i truely get into it i will buy from Aliexpress or alibaba or ebay for sure for bulk prices. ive started off now getting some off amazon for 240 eyes mix and 100 noses i believe for$20
