Yes indeed and really, when you get older you start to take a new view and look at things differently, this will help you and give you a boost of improvement. I actively started drawing when i was 9 or 10 now im 17. A couple of days ago i looked again at all my old drawings in a chronological way and really the boost is an actual thing.
