Indeed! Been busy with life. After the wedding last year, my guy and I began the application process for him to immigrate to the U.S. We actually just finished it and flew back to the States yesterday (happy birthday to me I guess, lol). We're now putting roots down in Minneapolis. 

How're you doing? What've you been up to?

How was Japan? Did you do Tokyo? Or did you go somewhere else there?

I was studying in Kanazawa for 10 months, but I did travel to Osaka, Tokyo, Kyoto, Nara and Ise during breaks and long weekends.

It's a long story, but the short version is my partner (Filipino) had to return to his home country after finishing school and I decided a LDR was too much to bear, so I said I would go with him. We're planning to move back to the U.S. sometime in early 2013, so just over 18 months to go!

New Paltz is a good town I hear. My best friend went to school up there. Hope all goes well. What language?

Well, I could do Japanese as my primary language, since I have about 36 credits in it, but we don't offer certification here. So I'm going to have French as my primary, and have Japanese and (hopefully) Spanish as secondary, since you need only 20 credits for each additional language.

Not all, but most of them yeah. I always liked black and white and I like the technique of shading so I stick mainly with traditional pencil...
