Greetings and many great hellos! I am Cottonmouth25, or Cm25 for short. I'd like to thank my friend, DemonPrincessLillith, for showing me deviantArt and its advantages. So... thank you.Current status: I am a second-year university student hoping to complete a degree in Biology and become an ornithologist. In the video game world, I catch PokΓ©mon, dig for fossils, and hunt giant monsters.
I once tried to write a novel called "Dragyntribe" several years ago, but after I completed the rough copy, I soon lost interest in it. During my writing phase, I had posted pictures of some of the characters/creatures here on deviantArt. Another thank you to DemonPrincessLillith for also posting pictures of these characters.
My best work, however, is my fanfictions. I have several already in progress, and all of them can be read on Fanfiction.net. My Fanfiction username is Cottonmouth25.
I really enjoy reading and writing, but I also love playing video games. Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, Pokemon Black, and any of the Fossil Fighters games are my favorites. I would love to have a nice, hours-long discussion with someone who is equally interested.
The reason I call myself "the Spore Serpent" is because it was on the computer game known as "SPORE" where the name Cottonmouth25 first became known to the world. Because my copy of SPORE soon became riddled with glitches and other assorted problems, I no longer play the game and have largely abandoned it.

I've been playing Monster Hunter Generations for some time now, and I gotta say...whoever decided to pit players against 3/5 Hyper Monsters in one quest is a complete sadist...

I lost interest in Generations before I managed to get to the Hyper monsters, lol.
But there's a DLC quest with a Hyper Lavasioth that allows you to make pirate equipment, so that's definitely on my bucket list. XD

Heh, I know that quest - I've done it a few times just so I could see what the Pirate gear looks like with it's stats. Β That Hyper Lavasioth is a total pain - fighting a normal one is like dealing with a Plesioth, but add the Hyper element to it, and it can burn, smack, and knock you over with more damage than a normal fight.

Ya know, for a while i though Crimson fatalis was the worst dragon i could fight but then i got to Alatreon. Then got past that bastard and met Dire Miralis. And i never won again

Haven't fought Dire yet, but I agree on Alatreon being stupidly hard. Last time I fought him was Tri, and I'm never fighting him again. Apparently he's still bad in Generations.

Alatreons abilities are ridiculous but i love thr challenge even though i lost 20 times out of the one time i beat it last week. At least in generations hunters have newer abilities. Dire Miralis, i hoped that being basically a giant fatalis would give me an edge because its movememts are so familiar. I wrecked the fatalis in 4U. But nope. That enormous size is its greatest weapon

Hey dude, I was wanting to make some character guides for one of the games I play, and I've been wanting to have the picture of said character displayed on the top of the General text, like how you do for your monster reviews. Only question is, how do I do that? As in displaying a picture on top of text?

Well, the first thing you have to do is click on "Enter Text" beneath the "Choose File to Upload" button. Once you're done with that, click on the little button to the right of your submission and then choose "Change Preview Image".

Question: will you review the special monster variants? I've always found them quite interesting, especially since I learned how realistic the concept of them actually is, ever since I heard rattle snakes where evolving to loose their rattles because the ones who were defected to not have them, survived the people who were searching for them.

Maybe I will, maybe I won't. I'll have to level up all the Deviants to 10 before I can write accurate reviews for them, and I'm not too interested in fighting Deviants at the moment. The only one I've fought so far is Redhelm.

-Zerureusu was basically a Rathalos designed with some mechanical aspect in mind; in fact, at one point in the making of his concept, he was referred to as "Mekareusu/Mechalos".
-Meraginasu was an Espinas combined with a jackhammer and a drill
-Diorekkusu, like Zerureusu, was also referred to as "Mekarekkusu/Mecharex"; in terms of the concept itself, it was basically a Tigrex combined with a railgun.
