Things are a bit stressful right now; I'm finishing out a last semester of teaching and I'll be looking for a job in a few weeks, so there's associated panic and anxiety tied up with that. Luckily I have good friends nearby and online, so I'm hanging in there! How about you? how have you been?

Eh, no problem.  I just remembered you saying that a lot of stuff was going on in your life last time we talked.  Oh god, that sounds crazy.  Teaching sounds like such a rewarding career, but also a little nerve-wracking.  Hang in there!  I wish you the best of luck with your last semester and the job hunt after.  Are you planning on teaching anything specifically, or are you more of a generalist right now? 
Not too much is happening with me.  Graduated from college about a year ago and am currently looking for a job, but not having too much luck.  It's a little competitive around this area, so I might have to move or consider just working a few hours from home.  Bleh.    Other than that, I'm just perusing DA and contemplating what I should draw next.

I'm done with teaching after this, or at least, that's the plan ^_^; I've been burned and burned out by academia at this point. I just want a nice lab tech (or, ideally, lab manager) job somewhere doing genetics work. CDC would be ideal, but I'll take wherever I can get. I expect I'll be moving pretty far for whatever I find ^_^; which is adding to the stress.

Congrats on graduating! And it sounds like we're in similar boats any new shows or movies that have caught your interest that could inspire something? Have you seen the new Voltron cartoon, perchance?

-hugs- thank you so much Ash! I was at a 4-day convention this past week and had a good (but exhausting!) time I was on pretty limited internet tho ^_^; so I wasn't able to check picarto or DA for a few days. I should be back on normal schedule now tho, and hopefully I'll be seeing you soon! <3

And flattery is the lifeblood on which an artist operates! Of course you need fresh infusions on a regular basis in order to keep up the stunning work! ^_^

I don't think I'm nearly as energetic as you XD but I'll take that as a compliment, good sir and/or madame! But my brainmeats are full of booshwash, if that helps! Indeed, I take great pride in making sure my booshes are freshly washed and watered every day! How else will they grow up big and strong?
